    Dungeon Maker has become very popular in Japan, Korea, and China (as well as user ratings in the US store for this game are quite high). Especially, it keeps the number one(#1) paid(premium) game in Japan App Store.

    Noteworthy is that games such as Online Mobile Gacha, PTW, and FTP were overtaken by Dungeon Maker in the field of App Store sales in Japan. Dungeon Maker entered the top 50 in all paid(premium) game revenue. (May 30, 2018). It was quite unusual for the offline & paid(premium) games to have achieved these results, the Japan game media reported.

    Most indie developers are in a tough environment, but users generally do not know indie developer’s specific difficulties. I was impressed that this developer showed this awesome game to users by trying without giving up despite failing many times. I think I will like this game more. You guys did a great job!

    A brief introduction to the effects of state changes in this game (rough translation applied)

    *Stuns - Lost next opportunity to act. 1 decrease per action

    *Slowing - Increases the time required for the next action by 50%. 1 decrease per action

    *Vulnerable - Increases damage by 50%. 1 decrease per action

    *Bondage - Can not attack on next action. 1 decrease per action

    *Absorption - When you receive damage that exceeds 10% of maximum health, only 10% of maximum health decreases health. Reduced by 1 when activated

    *Drowning - Damage received from a trap increases by 100%. Reduced by 1 every time you get trapped

    And do room bonuses for “adjacent” rooms apply only to the up-to-four directly linked rooms, or to the up-to-eight rooms that surround it?

    I guess the former. But have unthinkingly worked to the latter, without really thinking things through.

    *Thorns. It inflicts additional damage to the affected enemies as much as the amount of thorns. The effect is reduced by half each time it is activated.

    It is definitly not « upgrade ». It is more « loose » one monster and 50% chance.

    Tried it a couple times and each time I loose the selected monster...

    Right, so that’s literally +3 damage for 3 thorn? This is what the description implies, but thorn then seems hopelessly underpowered compared to pretty much every other status.

    Also - I suspect adjacent can be tested by looking for which rooms are affected by explosion. If I ever keep an explosion room long enough, I’ll try to see. Makes a big difference to dungeon planning!

    Am I the only one who was surprised by how addicting this game is?

    I love the art style, and clicking on the event cards is so addicting.

    Definitely worth the $3 and maybe even an IAP too.

    Speaking of which, I have a question: Is it possible to unlock additional Dark Lords without purchasing IAP?
    I wouldn’t necessarily mind it if so, because I would love to support this developer more, but they did say “everything” was unlock able through the game, so... IDK.

    Any input on my question is much appreciated.

    Oh, and also, the battery drain is more than I thought it would be. maybe my phone is different? I’m running latest iOS version on an iPhone 7. Like 25 minutes of play drains my battery 10%, which is almost as bad as games like PUBG and WOTB.
    (This game is amazingly enough just as addictive as those games too, which mostly makes up for it. :))

    When I can spare the time I will write a nice review on App Store of this game.

    I can’t deny that I find all anime erotica frankly odd, but this one is pushing all sorts of unusual buttons.

    It appears to be carrying the flag for both women with very very very uneven cup sizes, and for women whose plastic surgeons have totally fucked up their “pockets” during surgery (yoooo, brap, I have totally watched two episodes of Botched!) thereby shifting their cleavage somewhere it should never rightly belong (ie, directly below the right clavicle).

    It’s quite an achievement for a graphic artist(e) to draw breasts so odd that they make being a turquoise mermaid seem positively unsurprising.

    Yes. They will appear in the abyss shop. You unlock abyss tokens by dying lots and - possibly - achieving stuff during your runs. Rebirth tokens come in blocks of 10. 1 abyss shop purchase is 10 rebirth tokens. The nature of the factors that produce tokens is currently a bit non specific, but it definitely involves exp and the latest update reduces the exp requirements for levelling up by 20%.
