Gameloft just launched a new teaser website called "stand against chaos": http://standagainstchaos.com/ If you look inside the website's code, you'll find a reference to Dungeon Hunter V, namely a website (inactive for now): http://new-staging.gameloft.org/minisites/dungeon-hunter-5 So this could be a countdown to the announcement of Dungeon Hunter V. The URL is active at Gameloft.com: http://www.gameloft.com/minisites/dungeon-hunter-5/
Lol, why kid ourselves? We know it's going to be freemium. They've made too much money off of the last 2, with this model.
So funny, people still think the year is 2009. It's freemium, no doubt and with lesser gameplay and a huge of iAPS like Modern Combat 5 or Brothers in Arms 3 (and 90% of previous Gameloft and AppStore gsmes). Casual Games....Dead Industry.
I've barely touched these since Dungeon Hunter 1+2 which were premium and I enjoyed. Although I did try 4 and it was different and even though it's freemium didn't seem bad at all but it had been out that long I thought I'll just wait for 5 so I'll give it a shot. I'm pretty positive it'll be freemium but at least Gameloft do updates.
It might be freemium but these games haven't been any good since 1 and 2 when they were premium. If gameloft is smart and want to get back their original "hardcore" gamer base they'll take it back to premium. Nothing beats a game with a great story, no paywalls, and knowing the entire game is available to you after 1 purchase. If you have to make it premium with IAP optional for like, I dunno cosmetic stuff or strong weapons for that extra edge.
Making health potions limited (or available through IAP) in this kind of game is ridiculous. Like so ridiculous that every old school gamer is going to either cry or laughing its ass off before it gets deleted. DH4 has so freaking much potential but GL clearly don't want it to be the mobile D3 experience it deserves. I'm not even mad at the upgrade timers or usual iap. It's okay. Just don't put a timer on health potions for gods sake and DH5 could be so much better. /rant *heads back to D3
And they are smart because of all the dumb people that throw IAP money at Gameloft because they don't realise it's a pure rip off. Several hundred of whatever currency later and they are none the wiser how much they've spent. meh, it'll be IAP based, we all know it, and it'll be hugely successful. We should be grateful they kept Modern Combat Premium with optional IAP. But this game should be pretty good, DH3 seems to have been a disaster and DH4 went some way to go back to the roots.
I'm hoping it'll be premium. You never know But gameloft need to make money. Freemium makes them more money than a premium priced game as a large chunk of people won't buy it as say $4 as they'll wait for a price drop for months and months. To me they're the ones to blame not gameloft. The cheap people who wait for price drops/promo codes Gameloft aren't stupid. If they made a huge amount of profit as a premium price they'll release it as premium. Sadly freemium makes more money As much as I hate freemium you can't blame companies. Blame cheap buyers

I don't think that's a clue, of course it could be but saying may 2015 be good for you ect makes sense as a sentence.
