A couple of comments where mine was included, too. I get it that it was off topic (as the one I've directed my comment at and is still available) for telling someone that everyone has his own opinion on f2p but just deleting the slightly negative ones which don't fit into 'new TA politics' sucks. Users have to be treaten equally, which isnt the case here. I don't know who the mod was at all. If so, I would have him pm'ed this instead. Just wanted to get it off my chest cuz it really bothered me, especially due to it not being a first time thing. As EP said. Say something negative and you are screwed. What gives? I do really try hard to get my english on an acceptable level and sometimes I need a couple of minutes to say something simple just to have it deleted afterwards and results in my time being wasted for being a part in a community.
Taichi panda actually seems like you're getting somewhere. I still didn't like their energy system either but you actually got decent loot and there were many ways to get rewards. This game all seems to lead to iap.
Gameloft Ryan said earlier in this thread that it isnt in the release version yet, but MFi support will be added at a later update.
Hmm... The number of times i read Tai Chi Panda here im gonna give it a shot. As for DH5, it has great controls, good action dungeon crawler, and definitely shows that Gameloft can deliver good games, but then they have to make sure the business keeps going on by taking the greedier route. Really cant blame Gameloft, but please dont tell me that i cant express hate for them if i feel the need to show it.
I was looking forward to this, now I feel let down. It's cool that the production value is up, but ultimately it makes the game boring. Where are the dungeons? Where is the loot? Why am I a bounty hunter defending his stronghold? Potions. Seriously Gameloft, what's the deal with the potions? Did you really have to go that route? I think I'm going to delete this one.
After playing it for a bit longer, I realize how much potential this game would has if it wouldnt have all those iap mechanics (at least for me cuz it clearly has much potential for the weak minded(hah) 'target audience'). An unique mash-up out of genres like diablo (kinda, the hack&slash part, loot), TGC (Equipment cards which you can fuse and enhance), parts out of games like brave frontier (element driven combat, friend list, take a friend into battle) and so on. While it tries to be an all-in-one type of game, it clearly fails at the core mechanics of said genres which isnt a bad thing at all as long as it is fun. Which it is, until you get to the point where the energy system, lottery, paid consumables and paywalls come into play and it kinda breaks the great feeling which you had after unlocking every genre mechanic in the tutorial just to realize that exactly those highly addictive mechanics are only there to accomplish its very own goal - make as much money as possible, no matter how broken the game will be in the end. This isnt anything about fair iap or experimenting with iap models as some people said in the gl thread. It's p2w in its finest and ultimatively mastered form. I cant take anyone serious who's going to tell me that it's not that way. However, if you have the money to throw at it or the time and enthusiasm to grind it out, this will probably be one hell of a ride. If you have fun, great, enjoy.
Is there no way to start over? I know it's tied to GC and iCloud but I have deleted the iCloud save, deleted the game data from GC and re-installed, and when I boot the game back up it logs me back into the same data. Maybe the GC info is saved on their server or something.
You guys are real harsh critics. Some of you could never be pleased. I do disagree with some of the monetization (5$ a chest / 7 gems a pot) I think it's a solid game. I mean it def has high production values it seems. Stunning visuals, animations, full voice acting, raiding / looting dungeons (to keep you coming back), events. I'm having lots of fun, when my stamina isn't gone that is.
Can I ask since this game is internet connection required , why it isn't written in the description of the app ? Luckily this is a freemium , what if its a premium ? I feel like I got cheated somewhere.
Anyone else getting a black screen sometimes after finishing a level? Then it wont let you finish it and claim your rewards?
All Gameloft games going forward require internet connection and recent most recent iOS software. It helps them keep people from using exploits and such. There was a post about this in one of their other forums.
Say what you want but when my stamina isnt gone and I am playing this I am very entertained. Just wish the stam wasnt such an issue.
Anyone know how to get spells? Is it in one of the chests? I have yet to get a spell and Ive been grinding for a while
Realitivelty recent ios, I mean it probably don't require 8.2, but if you haven't upgraded from ios 7, or are jail broken I don't think that you can play, I may be wrong
