How many diamonds you can get from weekly challenge event? I think maybe like 10 or so? Technically, you can get free gem chest every few weeks which does avoid the paywall. Although it is calendar time gated instead of play time gated.
It is not a huge pay wall by any means, you will get 1 premium chest every two weeks at the rate they are handing out stuff. It is generous enough for a top freemium game a year or two ago. The problem is, other games of this genre give you 3-4 ways to get end game stuff, and their events are not literally "beat this boss 100 times" grind fests. It just feels richer/more rewarding. I also think a top freemium game starting out in 2015 must allow players to 5-star everything, without restrictions, to create the emotional attachment and avoid the "damn why am I putting experience into this thing when I am going to throw it away in a few levels" feeling. PAD didn't have to do this because it started 2 years ago and has a gigantic player base already used to its outdated model.
It is really frustrating when you buy diamonds and get duplicates in the chests that you open. I mean like throw your Ipad across the m f ing room mad.
So today I got my 3* fire glaive and evolved it into a 4*! So now I'm rocking 4* fire armor that I evolved from 3* with crossbow DMG. (To bad don't use crossbow) Got my boss 4* nature staff (PEWPEW) Currently working on evolving my light 3* great sword that I have. Got the materials just need the gold and boosters to max it before evolving. The 30% off gems is tempting. I never noticed the minion chest and I want a few to earn me more gold. Also; I need a new armor I love my evolved 4* but I'd love some glaive armor or staff armor. Edit: not everyone sees the deal? Got into the shop. It's 24 hours. 10 hours left. 30% off all gems. Nope. I guess I'm lucky that 2 of my 4 rare draws gave me a weapon that aligns with a piece of armor as to both element and weapon type buff. Just having a hard time with the idea of going from staff to saber once I get these pieces to 4*.
I see a ton of people with Baloth, Cicatrizer, Sentinel etc. Are these farmable or only from Minion Chests?
Sadly after many hours play ive had to change my rating and quit playing. The game is becoming more a chore than fun thinking oh I better go use my energy ect. But mainly because they said you could keep your first weapon through the whole game if you wanted due to the fusion system but the simple fact is you can't. It seems the best armours and weapons along with minions are only obtainable through purchases. Which are completely random and offer many duplicates, I tried progressing further in advanced to see if I start getting items like from the gem chest but still nothing.
Haha amen I dropped the 35$ for the 650 package. Used 50 on inventory, 100 on minion chests ( got crap ) and used the rest on gear chests. Got all duplications except a sweet fire sword. Pretty badass. All 3* thought so I'll have to evolve. It'll go well with my fire armor though. It's a great sword pretty neat. Got an ice armor and a light armor as well but junk. I did get a light crossbow that I've never gotten before that 3*. Maybe I'll try that out in the future.
map 45 is the last one btw, i've done all maps on normal and hard, will take some time to do all on expert though
New 5 day event. This time you get to fit a water boss. In the exact same setting as last weeks Same progession tiers with water amour as the main prizes. Boss has 200% damage from light attacks and give 50% damage to light amour. So basically if you have ten strike you have a good chance of beating him. I have that plus a maxed 3 star glaive and can beat hard without taking any damage (maxed 3 star death armour). I expect I could do expert fairly easily too. Plus side is that it is another source of gems
YMMV but my experience tells me otherwise. There is a vast difference between hard and expert. With 1.4k att/def I can take little to no damage on hard but get hammered in a matter of a minute when playing expert.
Thought that weapon would pwn him... Probably massive difference. Ah well I'll stick with hard with as long as I can. Hopefully will get up fairly high and get some nice gems
Man what is this crap about I cant evolve a piece of gear because it would throw it over the limit for the set of gear I am wearing? Anyone have this happen what do I do?
