They can only optimize their servers but they can't fix connection issues on your side. I have been able to recover from this issue by switching out and back in (not close/kill and restart app) per others said. It may take good few minutes to reconnect and complete the mission though.
Ok figured out a way to still get rewards after a fading out black screen. Pull up from bottom for the pane with airplane mode and hit that. Then a sec later turn it off and go back to app. Hit retry connection or whatever it says and boom rewards pop up!
The game is surprisingly well-polished but given the nature of random gems chest, I will stick to max 3* gears from drops. I'm wondering if maxed 3* gears can finish all the normal missions.. anyone finished the (normal) last mission yet? Looked up the wikis and noticed few things: - most gear types have 3 variations, armor has 5 (one for each weapon bonus) - each gear variation will not change to other variations when evolve If you get 1* gear variation 1, it will evolve into 3* gear variation 1 too. This means you can check what stats 1* gears will have as 3*. Of course for 2* gears you can just use evolve to check its 3* stats. The max 3* gears also have these synergies: - back and belt gears have +% bonus armor for the same element - bracer gears have +% bonus attack for the same element - each armor has +% attack for each weapon So to keep these synergies, you can have up to 2 elements: weapons/bracers, armor/back/belt. E.g. fire weapons/bracer and water armor/back/belt. Also you want to match the armor +% weapon bonus to your weapons. I'm going for life leech strategy and came up with these: - Nature staff variation 1 (pushback, health/hit, health/kill) with spore trap bracer (backflip with stun traps) - Light armor variation 5 (staff dmg, health/kill) with ten strikes... haven't found any Light belt yet :/ Thinking of secondary gear set but will go for Darkness staff variation 3 (health/hit, ongoing damage, health/kill) for fire enemies. On the second thought, I probably should just stick with Nature and Death single element gear sets but I really like Ten Strikes.
For those interested, I found the music soundtrack for dungeon hunter 5. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m7dedqTtCbc&list=PLIgikFqPBxcIuerXg16P_MV-4u9BBeE0K&index=21
The 30% gem discount is very tempting. To bad it's only 24 hours. Not sure if it's a sign of curtesy or because they aren't doing well. I hope they are doing well, means a long game life and tons of events / content.
Earned another 50 gems, that's now two chests and 4*5 slots at 10 gems each (140 total) just from in game handouts which I think is quite good for just over a week, especially as I didn't get that high in the last event - 10k points and the last place reward. Opened it and got a death glaive. This game is determined for me to be death with a glaive On the plus side is +30hp per kill! On the downside I need max it out at 3 stars before it becomes useful as a main weapon
Hi everyone, I'm confusing between health/hit and hp/hit, can you help me? I/m using the dual blade with health/hit Magical property, but my character did not steal hp when hit monsters???
I think health and HP are the same aren't they?? I think with those features you get extra health or hit points (HP) per hit or kill. That's how I understand it anyway
Dang it I keep getting the wrong color claws from the daily! I need a bunch of blue one and I am getting everything else but blue.
In order & chaos online you get 1 free 10 rune lottery spin (with best t3 epic weapons) once per day and you also get 1 free 30 rune lottery spin (with best t4 epic weapons) once per 2 days. This must be added in DH 5 for sure considering that you hit the paywall as soon as you've maxed your 3* items.
You know I am ok with what I paid for this game. It has had me hooked more than a lot of the games on IOS lately. I mean yes it cost a bit of money for me to be happy with where I am at damage wise and stuff.
If there is a brutal paywall in a freemium game then developer must do something about this, constant farming - I'm cool with that as long as I'll be avoiding the paywall, but if there is no way I can avoid it without spending cash, developer does not deserve a penny from me or any other players. Like someone on forums said :"If developers will continue making brutal paywalls with no way to avoid them, ridiculous and an unfair IAP system the bubble will pop eventually" The game will just go to sh#t with the developer team if the company is too greedy,in this case I'll be happy if gameloft will fail and their bubble will pop because they have turned to shit, look at Glu,it's collapsing,so will gameloft if they won't be making less brutal IAP models. In order to make a good freemium game you need to find a right way to do it,but many developers just ignore this fact and fail miserably. In most of the cases,if the freemium model is soft,if there are no paywalls and I can easily play without spending money,I and many other players will spend money because we want to support the developers for not f###ing up with the game.
Gameloft started as a premium developer and I think they are just having a rough time adjusting to a market dominated by freemium games and unable to compete. If you play Taichi Panda (top 10 grossing in China, global launch this week), you will see the game literally showers you with gifts and rewards. On top of better/smoother combat, more skills/skill tree/character builds and playing modes (real time PVP/PVE). Marvel: Future Fight is shaping up to be another top game with global launch next a couple of weeks, and much much stronger IP. I think DH5 is in a tough spot now they are out of top 250 grossing in both US/UK. This game will lose money in the end for Gameloft once you factor in the high development cost and production value. It is top 30 in China and top 40 in Korea and most likely won't hold on in these major hack-and-slash markets. I don't think DH5 necessarily has a pay wall, but the game just turned dry for me compared to modern premium games. The horrible "fight the same boss on 100000000000000 times with no loot each run" event probably lost them a lot of players due to burn out. That is not how you design an event in 2015. In modern top freemium games I have at least four paths of progression, shards from single player campaign, gifted freemium currency, PVP points, free premium chest pulls, all can be traded toward end game character/gear. DH5 progression just feels too single dimensional in comparison. Balancing is very tricky. You need to shower low/no-pay players with rewards, but you also need enough contents to satisfy the whales who will consume contents 10x the speed of a no-pay player. Gameloft's lack of success in freemium model is proof they have not mastered this yet. A top free freemium game MUST APPRECIATE PLAYER'S TIME SPENT AT ALL TIMES and always always always reward them at each and every turn. After you get pampered by modern freemium games like Heroes Charge, it is hard to go back to the old models.
Geez I have actually been selling most of my other colors because like 3 or 4 of my gears are frost so I need the blue claws for evo.
Whooooo got my greatsword to 4 stars!!!! Now I just need a bunch more blue claws for my other gear. EDIT: By the way the stun on it has been a life saver several times. If it hits it gives me that 1 more swing or skill hit to win in a pvp match.
