Let me know your battle.net name! I'll add you. I'm a HUGE Diablo 3 player (daily) and will help ya out. Get you leveled and into a active / friendly guild. You'll be able to enjoy a full experience and get uber loot just for playing 2.2 comes out soon (nice content update ) and season 3 so let's get ya suited up! Lol
Your gear can be crappy, As long as u managed to ally some godly ally, all event is doable. So to me, there is no paywall
Finally managed to get all mats needed to evolve my 4* items to 5*.. now it's just about to get the weapon and armor to lvl 75, almost impossible without the Fusion booster event, it's so damn expensive and hard to level it once they hit like 60
Skipped 3 and 4 because they became F2P, but I'm thinking of trying out the game. My question is, do you hit a paywall in the game? Or is the game beatable (I mean, the single player campaign) without spending real money? Thanks
difficult to answer really. It seems like you will need to open the 50 diamond chests to get weapons/armour etc... that will take you through the game. You can get diamonds from completing levels for the first time, or competing in events, and also IAP. So it would appear that you can get far in the game without paying, but it will take a looong time. Personally I am just enjoying it for what it is at the moment. I am at the right level currently were things are too expensive and too 'grindy' Will see how it goes though with the events, the last GL Fremium game I played - Spider-Man Unlimited was actually fairly well balanced. Does anyone know how the leagues work for Stronghold? There was a count down which ended last night, and it said there was a reward of some Breath Fusion Boosters, but I don't seem to have had then
Just fought stronghold against a level 16 player and I'm 23. He had one 5 tier minion that basically one shot me. I never dented it's HP. of armor/hp I never even dented it's HP and it one shot me. I have around 4,200 hp, 1.6k armor, 1.9k dmg. Funny, kinda. He was 12 and 104 in stronghold. 104 wins in defense
U get to bring an ally in maps, and some of them are the only way u can clear the map when your character can't. Even if u don't find suitable ally, just close the game and relogin, u got a new set of allies to choose from.
Yeah that's the sad thing. I'm like level 27 but considering my rank. I fight against tons of boosted players. Most of the time I'll loose to a 4* minion :/ Extremely hard to beat. Esp the ones that keep fearing you for 5+ seconds.
what is their customer service email? i have use 60 gem and only get 6 slot.. is it mean , they will give me what i should get?
Nope. You got it correct. 1 slot = 10 gems. http://forums.toucharcade.com/showpost.php?p=3500662&postcount=466 I assume that by fixing the issue, most people who got 5 slots for 10 gems could lose the additional 4 slots-per-purchase after the bugs are ironed out. Dat rage. *walks off to buy Popcorn just in case*
BTW 55000 event reward is a pure scam - it shows tier5 armor icon, while it actually awards you with plain tier 3 one - almost the same one as for 13000. It screeams false advertising all over. And since I had to buy few gems to actually get to 55000 points mark Im strongly considering requesting refund from Apple. Even the event description says - get Statat armor If its not a bug (I filed a complaint in Gameloft system, no response yet) - then Gameloft just hit its new low.
Yea maybe it just meant that the armor can get to tier 5. While the 13000 one is capped at tier 3. Anyway, getting 55000 is mind blowing! Nice job.
I mean this with 100% sincerity. Can anyone actually explain, in a nice, non-angry, non "I hate f2p" kind of way, what it means to be a "paying player" in a game like this? There is so much outright hate or love for the f2p models, and games like Candy Crush or CoC seem like they are totally different from DH5 (I think). But I really would like an honest answer on how much money someone spends; daily, weekly, over the time they play a game like DH5 before deleting it. And almost is equally important, what does one get for that investment? Do the fees take away the barriers and allow you to play the game as it was meant to be played? Or do they simply allow you to open more chests get more items, only to realize that you're playing a fixed game that artificially is walking you through it? I play plenty of games for 10 to 40 hours that cost $60 and have no problem with that. I also play games like Diablo III that cost $100 with the expansion and I have gotten hundreds and hundreds of hours of playtime out of them. I am in no way against paying for entertainment, I am just genuinely curious about what it actually costs to play a game like this and what you get for your money? And for everyone out there who wants to respond with something along the lines of "it's just a scam and they are stealing your money", I totally get that viewpoint. But I think it would benefit a lot of players out there to know what these games end up costing and for what.
That's exactly my problem with F2P games. If IAPs are incorporated into the game successefuly then they mess with the enjoyment of the game, usually doing so by altering the difficulty curve. I played many F2P games where my enjoyment was taken away by grinding and in some of those games I purchased the IAPs and then it suddenly became like I was playing on the easiest difficulty. And that is my problem with most F2P games. The game designer doesn't tell you "you should buy that IAP to lower grinding, but the game will still stay challenging, just as it was meant to be played". I mean, when have you last seen a F2P game with an upfront difficulty setting?
I think they are gonna revert it all to 10 gems for 5, because when I first complain, they say I will get compensated.
It can be evolved, but thats not the point, all information shown in the event suggests that youre getting fully evolved armor for the 55000 mark - look at the reward picture, armor that you actually get has totally diffrent icon and name. Its highly misleading to say the least, to be honest I had no reason to expect to get only tier 3 armor for the huge effort of getting to 55000 VPs. Gameloft WANTS players to believe that they are getting that Stantan armor with max stat of 2,1k for the sole purpose of buying gems, as it is not really possible to get to 55000 without resetting energy timer with gems. And btw all 3 armors I got from gem chest were fully evolvable to t5 as well, and had some superfusion bonuses built in.
