Right. I have a few decent 2 star monsters.

Honestly I feel like my 4* armor is helping me out way more than my 4* weapon is. I can tell the big difference of not taking as much damage and never needing to use potions really (unless in an event dungeon)

if I only had 2 or 3 star weapons/armors I'd focus on upgrading my armor/def before upgrading my damage

That thing was discontinued a while ago. They were I think $80 when they first came out, now you can buy them brand new on Amazon for $7.

So how many chests before you got the 4* stuff?

I have a 4 star armor also and it does help. I am only using a 2 star weapon though so I wish that was a 3 or 4.

To bad you can't get over 4* on ticket chests. I got 4 gem chests so far and only 3* stuff. I'd like to know how many until you got a 4* as well.

5 chests total gave me the 4* weapon and 4* armor. I guess I was lucky, I read someone saying its about 5-7% chance of getting a 4*. 5* are ridicilously low since they are end game gear.

Ticket chests can only give you max 2*

I can open 30 ticket chests myself but dont need anything from them, and too lazy to open only to sell the items

Anyone at all have problems connecting to this game? Its incredibly annoying.

Also when i finally do connect, does anyone have the issue of opening the final chest at the end of the dungeon and the game slowly fades to complete darkness instead of opening up how much xp and gold you got?

I agree. This just isn't doing much of anything for me. Mildly entertaining, I suppose, but just not my cup of tea. Just kind of "meh". Like Eli and Jared say "Hey, it ain't my thing but if you like it then awesome". I'm going to give it a few days before I delete it to see if it can grab me and give it a fair shake.

To each there own of course.
I am absolutely loving this game, and foresee it on my device for a long time to come.
I prefer smaller play sessions, and more mission based gameplay, and this game presents the perfect marriage between that and hack/slash rpg.

Imo, a flawless game that can only get better!

It's a pretty good game. Besides the lack of offline play. I am enjoying it very much.

Can we only bring our friends with once to get 4x bounty tickets? Or is it every other day or something because none have showed on the screen since the first time with each.

    Offline play = massive hackers.

Online play is a must to maintain a clean environment.

It is far and away my favorite hack-and-loot RPG in mobile, the addition of Puzzles & Dragons style lottery and Clash of Clans style base building really took this to the next level, it gave you MULTIPLE paths of character progression beyond grinding. A 3-4 star gear from lottery makes your character dramatically stronger. And it is a great feeling that you have a base getting more resources even when you are not playing.

Much like how the card collecting aspect of Injustice mobile turned it from a console companion to something that became more successful than the console game itself.

True, but who cares if someone playing solo hacks their own game? If they want to hack it so they are invincible...well good for them.

Hacking a singleplayer game = No effect on other player's gameplay experience.
Forcing an always-online internet connection = Making a mobile game less mobile.

Forced internet connections in singleplayer games do not directly benefit the consumer.

In the one and a half days I've had DH5 installed on my tablet (and played it for maybe an hour to an hour and a half) the game has downloaded 11mb of data. While this isn't a problem with my internet at home, that's definitely a substantial ammount if it was downloading that data over the phone network, and this is only from playing the game a little bit.

You missed the point this was never intended to be an isolated single player game. Just like the two games it drew ideas from, COC and PAD were never intended to be single player games.

It's just like DRM: If your solution to a problem makes your product considerably worse in noteworthy aspects, it's probably not the best solution.

Sorry I meant to bad you can't get over 2*. Derp haha

& yeah I've opened 4 gem chests and not a single 4*. You got very lucky. Once I'm high enough level I'll start farming dailies to make my 3*s / fuse them into 4*s
