Question about weapons. I'm level 43 current mission is elite lupine, do I need to solo the elite lupine or be a higher level for weapons higher then the 60 tier?

Do weapons unlock from level or point in game?

I have finished the lupine elite twice in co op but the flag still stays highlighted with circles as in the story has not progressed.

Only in solo will it allow you to progress.

    Thank you!

Do you know if more weapons open up after that crawl, lupine? Or is it level based?

    I'm 43.

Tier 61 stuff should be unlocked for you if you finished everything solo upto Lupine Elite. The Tier 73 stuff unlocks after finishing Lupine Peak Elite.

    Canada.
Thanks for your help, but I've deleted it.

No, not because of space. Because its quite frustrating to play. I can see the gameloft concept in making players grind. I just finished the campaign on normal and moving onto elite, many achievements require redoing dungeons 2 or more times to finish. I know this is the concept of dungeon crawlers but it is getting VERY repetitive. Gameloft still successfully manages to frustrate me even when I merge glitched all my items. I have no idea how to get another 300+ gems just to reset skill points, and I'm sick of the timers too with my busy life. I had to juggle several square gems from items and god knows how long it took. Anyways, why should I play this when its so buggy, easily pay to progress and theres a plethora of better games out there? Every time you progress in the story the seemingly good weapon you got for 800 credits suddenly becomes outclassed.
In my opinion, GL messed up on this one. Hard.

    I hope they read this.

The sad thing is, the game's mechanics are sound. It's just the balancing and the freemium elements that turn it into a terrible game. This had so much potential, but at the end of the day big devs are going to migrate to what works. Unfortunately, the freemium model makes money (granted there are much better ways to implement it, but GL doesn't care about that)

True, the core game mechanics and graphics are just fine - ruined by the offensive IAP and timers.

However, the merge glitch has made the game fun / playable. Of course the timers are a real pain still - 17 hours to merge level 9s into 10, ouch.

But am willing to suffer that for the money saved from doing the glitch, prob pushing £50+ in what gems would have cost me - and I would never have dropped that amount of cash on a game. Happily, it's zero £ spent!

My current obsession - apart from happily grinding for experience and coins - is merge-glitching for high level charms from the repeat weapons&armour I have already got, then merging those rather than going through level 1, 2, 3 etc.

Am wondering - hopefully not a stupid question - having two separate 4.5% life leech charms is better than merging those into a single 5%? Is the only benefit in this case the fact you save a charm slot?

Not a stupid question at all.
And yes, if the lower level charms add up to a higher total than one higher level charm, using several lowlevels is actually better. As you say, the main advantage of the highlevels is to save on charm slots (e.g. 1x 4.5% vs. 3x 1.5%).

    Cheers, makes sense!

I wish they'd let you buy (or glitch :) ) charm slot shapes. I've got a few too many circle/star slots for my liking.

I wonder if the slot shapes are fixed - or if I went and re-glitched the same weapon and upgraded, could the shape slots change?

Hoping everyone is using the wheel of fate 'bug'. Not a super bug as such, but a good tip someone posted earlier.

On bronze wheel of fate, when you select it, you can back out and go back in, and the prizes changes. I keep doing it until 10 gems appears as the first prize, then you can go and spin, and guarantee 10 gems each day.

Sometimes you'll have to go in and out loads of times, but 10 gems will always appear at some point and always as the first prize.

Add to that the 10 free gems from watching adverts, so 20 free gems a day up for grabs.

    Saving for a decent ring!

So true, a lot of us including me won't even bother keeping this game in the device without the glitch. If the timers can be removed permanently then I'd be happy to pay for this app, perhaps for $2.99 or slightly more.

I've had that same glitch where my battle worn got one of the swords only purchase able by gems, I also got a 1250 gem thing in the mask section of the inventory (I don't know what it is called) all for free.

Actually you do not need to do co-op levels in solo to progress, I did war age academy co-op and progressed, all you need to do to progress on co-op levels is have entered the building/area of the mission you are on at least once, then you can do it in co-op and progress that way, worked for me on warmage academy and my cousin on the archives.

Then there's the bad bug. Your game crashes when using the wheel of fate. You lose your turn and you don't get anything. Thankfully it happened to me only once.

Don't think it's fixed. I have experimented with it a bit. If you don't like the new slot you get, try repeat the same process and you likely get a different shape slot next time.

I've been doing the same, only just to stockpile gems. Not really sure what I want to spend them on yet.

For the ring situation, I recommend you get as far as possible with the merge glitch. When you finally hit a wall and need to level, buy the better health leech ring (it offers 31% gold and gem increase and 3.5% health leech I think). If you don't hit a wall and unlock the amazing armor set (it will be the highest set purchasable with gems) it will hit the low price of 50 gems, at which point I'd buy it anyway because you need to level up to lv 80 to get the next shop refresh.
