Basically, we're skipping difficulty walls because we don't want to A: Grind for hours to get enough coins (Or mats) for weapons/armor. Usually, these items are already beaten by the time you get over that hump. Or B: Pay money to get weapons and armor to survive. We may want another Dungeon Hunter game, but not one chock full of iAPs like this, and also a much more fair difficulty ratio. And don't even get me started on the gaudawful drop tables for this game. If there were to be another DH, we would like it to be like DH1 or 2. Not 4, and ESPECIALLY not 3. (I hated 3, to be quite honest.)
Exploiting a glitch isn't stealing like stealing a car. Although the game is free, we still have 'purchased' it by downloading it so we are entitled to the game with whatever state it has been provided in. If anything, I'm enjoying the game more and will get to see all of the great levels and bosses GL has put in - I'll just be seeing them sooner than if I carried on doing the super grind - which I actually did happily to level 18 after my first crash/loss. It's GLs fault they are getting zero cash from me, not mine.
Back to the irony. People didn't pay for their games so developers changed their pricing model to try to make money. People don't like that pricing model either, which unfortunately now impacts the gameplay, so they decide to respond to the changes by ... Not paying for their games.
Hi. Bosses in Campaign later on have about a range of 2mil to 10mil HP. im at the The Infinity Arena. I'm at my 3rd play through. normal creeps are at lvl 114 and have 500k - 2mil Hp already. bosses can take 20mins of slashing to take down ._. my advice. invest on critical dmg and health leech. being a battleworn gives me plenty of health leech passively. that's ur only way to stay alive.
You're stealing something that the developers intended to be purchased in game. You didn't download any gems when you got it free. Perhaps not paying for the mini bar in a hotel is a better analogy. Anyway, the point was supposed to be that by coming up with ways around the pay models you end up with short term gains (a free game) and long term pain (freemium).
Hopefully it forces the developers to test their games better in future and not concentrate on IAP ramming so much, and teasing you in the inventory / loading screens that you'll be better off with these great weapons/armour. If they make the next game with even more timers or charging for in game minutes, then they'll start alienating their customers for sure. They don't care much for the game as you could purchase the highest gear from day one and then beat the game without such a huge grind fest - so clearly GL don't mind if you skip to high level gear straight away and wizz through the game, as long as you've splashed the cash on it. It's an odd debate, and quite circular. But I am sure GL won't feel this glitch in their pockets, I bet there's thousands of customers who have dropped cash on gems, vanity armour etc. I'd suggest us lot taking advantage of the glitch here are a real minority compared to those who didn't, and also compared to those who just deleted the game at Warmage Academy or before - which is wasted time / goodwill on GL's behalf.
You're probably right, and I appreciate you taking the time to understand the point I was trying to make.
Hmmmm, hotel mini bar is a good analogy, fair enough. What about buying a KFC bucket of chicken, and they accidentally have put in a extra piece of chicken that you didn't order, which clearly they didn't intend to give away for free - do you go back and pay them for it, or do you eat that chicken and enjoy the inevitable chicken sweat that comes after? Ok am getting carried away now....
Well we can probably expect to see the inevitable "bug fixes" patch, especially after this was found. Somebody at Gameloft is getting a serious butt chewin tomorrow!
Why do I only do about 20 dmg in PvP? I'm using the best weapon already. And I got killed in one shot by some low level, no gear noobs.
for some reason when i step into a ring iin a dungeon, the battle doesnt start. does anyone know a fix?
Ouch - that Kinishi trials level (or whatever it's called, the one up the snowy mountains) is pretty solid, even with the glitched weapon and armour on my side. I'm level 23, baddies were 27/28 I think. Can't imagine how long I would have had to grind and what level to be to do that without the decent gear. I would have probably needed to be level 33+ to do without glitched gear = a sheer ton of hours. Of course, I could have paid up for the weapons if the glitch didn't exist
It's just one of the many bugs... My potion timer just disappeared. I don't get any more free potions!!
