omg I read this post and decided to just try it out I was merging a charm and crafting a 30 black iron ore weapon and decided to just go to the shop and highlight a tier 25 800 gem sword while the timers are running lo and behold, I just turned on my iphone and timers gone, and the tier 25 weapon is in my inventory!
Everything I have tried hasn't worked for me. Unless gameloft releases an update fixing the bug your only option is to start a new character or play an already existing character
Yeah, that's a very strange bug. But, hey, it works for a multitude of ways. Once I got Forgotten Fists from it, but I accidentally sold them. LOOOOOOOOL. I need to abuse this bug just so I could get ahead in the game while it lasts. At least it's a way to get premium items without the payment... I need to try it for a ring too, see if that works the same as well. Oh, well that sucks. My Battleworn's the only character I have, which is rather unfortunate seeing as how I rarely make a second character in Dungeon Crawler games anyway... I'm certain Gameloft is working on a hotfix for this bug and others (Including the Charm to Weapon mutation glitch) right now. I contacted them and they said they should have it done 'soon'. I might as well just play around with the UIs and wait, instead of making a new character and deleting my Battleworn.
anyone tried this bug for armors pieces yet? I have run out of charms to merge, will try this exploit for armor next and not gonna update my game if any update is out to fix this bug loool
Farm from Valance Courtyard, breh. Charms are very common there. Usually you'll get different ones, but there's times where you'll get another of the same. Pretty likely to happen. Oh, and it works for Armor. I tried it with Forgotten Fists. Those ended up in my inven after merging Heart Charms.
Ok here goes some info... I'm lvl 76 right now. I have went through the endless arena 4x continuous. Each time you make it to wave 42ish it jumps you back to wave 1 with mobs lvls being much higher. 4x consecutively was putting me against lvls 205. It was getting pretty crazy. I never used and pots either, reason why I stopped was a crash. My tips are... Using a sentinel (archer) the +crit passive can give you +100% chance to crit at lvl 20. So going by what I know of diablo 3, stacking as much +crit damage as I could (yellow circle gems), I started to own hard. These yellow gems coupled with a few life leech makes you hit hard and refill life at the same time. I would buy armor and upgrade it just to see what sockets it had at gold. If it didn't have circle sockets, sell it and try again. Socket many crit dmg after maxing crit passive. Don't bother with any other gems besides a few life leech and many yellow crit dmg ones.
Every time I open the app, it runs to the screen showing a guy holding 2 swords. THEN IT CLOSES ITSELF!!! Any1 knows how to fix this? Thx Edit: apparently I m not the only 1 experiencing this on the Taiwan App Store...
Ok so, the glitch works like this? Merge a charm (it can be whatever right?) then go to the shop and highlight the item you want. Exit and come back and it should be in your inventory right?
It depends on your device. Try deleting and reinstalling. Maybe it should work properly then. Yessir, once the merging process completes.
Didn't work for me. Started merging gems, highlighted the item in the shop, closed the app. Turned back on in 2min, gems got merged no new item. Must be something more to this.
hmm maybe only for a particular set of gem? I was merging some lvl 1 gem and crafting the black ore weapon so i'm not too sure which action triggered this glitch edit: just tried on an armor piece, not working
Merge bug just worked for me. Got the Natural Lambent Sword. I had 2 lots of charms merging, just low level ones, had the sword highlighted and left it for the merges to finish....and BOOM, Lambent sword is there in my inventory! So that's 800 gems worth! Ok, so feel a little cheap now....not sure whether to use it or sell it. It's +2571 damage to my current sword. Ouch!
yup I also got that sword via the merge glitch too bad I can't replicate this glitch for other items... oh well at least it's better than nothing, should enable me to progress and grind easier
Not sure if relevant, but I stayed in the app while the merging glitch was happening - rather than exit. Didn't work on other items, but weapon is good enough - thanks GameLoft
This only happened to me once, and it was while i highlighted the item in the swords section of my inventory (not the shop toolbar itself..). Did you highlight it from the shop or weapons section (under inventory) Thanks in ad.vance My first attempt just now failed. Didnt get the lambent scimitars. Had it highlighted in my inventory. Now im gonna try highliting at. The shop instead.. I quit my game and removed it from active apps. Brb in 15 i guess
I had the Lambent Sword highlighted in the Inventory screen when it worked for me, rather than shop. The names of all the weapons / gear are interesting. My fave was something like a "Mental Sword". Thinking back to DH2, it sucks that DH4 only has one weapon type for each class. Well, Battleworn only ever has double handed sword, soam assuming other classes have one type of weapon. I loved on DH2, being warrior bloke, and mixing up 2-handed sword or axe, or dual wielding, or weapon + shield, with weapons being axe, sword, dagger, hammer or mace. DH2 loot and weapons system was ace! But I do like the charm thing from DH4, despite bloody timers. Had a 2 hour wait earlier to merge a 60% critical damage charm. DH5 needs to be the love-child of DH2 andDH4 minus all the timer / over-aggressive IAP nonsense. Charge me a decent one-off price too, happy to pay for quality!
There are lvl 14 and below players that kick my character's butt in just one hit. I'm at level 25 with tier 25 items. Having millions of gems makes no sense because advanced weapons and armors are not yet available at lower level.
Got my lamberts. Lol. Finally. Maybe this will help you guys... Merged fire charms that would lead to 15 percent.no other merges or anything including disassembling charms from equip. When the timer was down to 10 seconds, i switched to inventory and furiously mashed on the weapon... Got it after.
