Here are some Warmage and general tips, although I'm only lvl 19. (1) dont necessarily upgrade life leach gems, they go from 1% to 1.5%; finding another square slot is often going to be better; (2) secondarily to life leach gems, a nice rate of health recovery per second is also useful -- this is a square gem as well, so gear with square slots is particularly useful; (3) doing arenas in multiplayer once you can get far enough into them is the best way to get gold and crafting mats; (4) adding slots to dragolith crafted gloves cost me 39,000 per slot -- be advised that the extra 1,000 health from a dragolith crafted item doesnt actually do as much as more life leach or a better weapon for survival. Its a little underwhelming, and the upgrade cost is high; (5) try to do the Warmage Academy type levels in coop multiplayer -- its a lot easier if you have some of the melee guys getting the aggro; (6) dont fuss with energy gems, or put too much in the energy passive, since you dont have good spammable spells; (7) be aware that your low level skills dont necessarily warrant skill points. I am not sure about crit rates, but since the mage seems to have lower direct damage in exchange for the AOE attack, I think it might be useful to add some +crit damage gems to increase your damage on bosses. +Poison and +fire might also be comparatively more useful for bosses. Kind of just guessing on these, since we dont know enough about the mechanics. Beyond that, I just use a mix of the other damage boosters. In general, so far at least, many of the skills seem oddly low-powered.
I know its not much but you can also get 12 gems in the free daily bronze spin. Every time you enter and exit the bronze spin screen it resets the rewards, just do that till the 12 gems is in the first slot then hit spin. This paired with the gems earned from the daily movie viewing can earn you at least 20 gems each day.
to the gameloft rep here here's a suggestion missing in this game which is one of the main features for diablo 3 is weapon armor damage hope you guys can implement this into DH4 in the next update so that when your items are broken, you need to spend gems to repair them
Any good merged charms out there? Or what's taken a while for you? My ones to note are 50% critical damage, got two of those, and a +12.18 per second health regen. Yes, that's "12.18" not just "12" or some other round number!
Woah, hold on there satan. Let's not get too ahead of ourselves here. I think they have enough IAP in this game.
Yep, crafting is 100% success rate. There is no weapon or armor decay in the game. If you're willing to farm everything, those weapons are pretty sweet. Crafting doesn't cost anything, just takes a while to farm everything.
Clarification: crafting the item costs nothing, adding 3 slots can cost a ton! Once gems start to matter, this is a not insignificant issue. However, it seems you can get a lot of cash and crafting mats fairly quickly from just doing the furthest arena that you can get to at least the first treasure chest on, and not taking the time to sell stuff from your inventory.
Got a few level 5/6 health and energy regen, and some attack gems like 25% poison and 64 dmg. But the 2% health leech trumps them all at late stages.
Guys got a question - what Radiant dmg does (except damage)? Is there any guide for charms? Gotta say i like the game, didnt spent on it much - i think 4,5 is a fine payment for the game. See u in the game
Yep, you're right. Upgrading crafted items (just like any other items) does cost more gold. Grinding a few coop dungeons and regular dungeons (such as Goblin Tunnels) is the fastest way to get gold. I believe. A "Legendary (gold)" item is almost as good (or slightly better) than some basic level purchased items.
Finally made it past the archives arena( barely) had to use 3 health potions to do so, now I'm on the goblin tunnel stage. Upgrade to the ogre bow it cost me $20.000 gold but well worth it. Really enjoying this game
As with every other Gameloft IAP love/hate fiasco that usually gets deleted, this one is really turning out to be enjoyable, pay to play or not. On an iPhone 5, it's hard not to be impressed with the real time shadows on everything, particle effects and interactive scenery. For another Gameloft pay to play, this one has boatloads of undeniable developer quality pouring out of it. I've been able to play for free so far since release, but honestly I want to give GL my money in some form or another in this game. Watching 10 free ads per day has netted me an extra character and bag space for all, so still no need to spend real money, but I'd like to just for support. I've reached the noted frustrating pay/grind walls like the Mage Academy, etc. and still toughed them out so I'm rooting for you Dungeon Hunter 4!
I assume radiant is just instant bonus damage, but admittedly, if so, it doesnt seem like a good charm given the low %. One interesting one is cold. I have only found one cold charm, they seem rare. I havent installed it yet. Does it cause any slow?
Just realized that crafting is pointless. Made it to character level 39, running through the elite difficulty and fighting enemies close to level 60. Bought and upgraded all the tier 46 gear with gold. Now the shop opened up a new tier of weapons. Up to tier 58 with gold, way better than the craftable void set I was looking forward too.
I think "Radiant" is a type of damage, like Holy. Fire does fast damage over time, poison does MORE damage, but slower over time. Essentially any type of + damage is good
That was my experience as well. I only have 24 void crystals so far but have tier 46 gold bought items (which are almost a good as the void gear). Crafting is just a tease.
Agree, though I did craft a Dragon armor to supplement my other level 34 gears. One difference is that the 34 gear s all come with star shaped gem slots, which are the least useful slots compared to say square or round ones (which the crafted one gives you). 46 gears all have square slots, so at that point no use for crafted one anymore.
