    Kind of funny as I feel the same about not paying for IAP and sticking it to the man even though its silly lol except for freemium done right like Punch Quest, if u ask me I think that is a excellent way to do freemium as i bought the coin doubler and some other stuff.

    Anyone know if there are weapons you can only find from special venders that is higher than tier 49? Tbh the higher tier weapons look like crap and most of the better looking weapons are the lower tier ones. So is there such thing as tier 48 or tiers you can't buy/craft?

    Anyone know how multiplayer is scaled? When I play multiplayer or co-op I do so little damage, is it because the damage is scaled down to the level in the group?

    Check out your speed up button in upgrades. I've had some timers cost 0 gems and just finished it. Probably a bug.

    Also, my potion button is completely ####ed at this point. As I posted earlier, I had one pot and no timer earlier. i used the pot and the icon changed to the 20 gems and still no timer. I have 39 gems from PvP and some ad watching so I tried to buy some hoping that would fix my timer. Nope, shits busted. I can't even buy potions.

    Looks like they busted something when they changed the timers from 8 hours to 4 hours. That's when everyone's timer bugs started popping up. Hopefully that gets fixed soon, maybe with some free potions as compensation (ya, right). The game is hard enough with occasional pots, playing without them completely is pretty brutal.

    I crafted some tier 14 bracers and found some tier 23 boots. Everything else is still tier 11. Level 17.

    I don't think the potion timer disappearing is a bug. It's a gameloft feature.

    How does the scaling work on multiplayer? Does everyone scale to the person with the lowest atk? I do like 200 dmg on multipler when playing co op and it feels like I have no armor on at all.

    there is no scaling in MP. You play with your real stats, which is not the right way for PvP. My blade master has over 16K health, yet I still get killed in one or two strikes by others on a routine basis.

    If there is one thing I wish GL would change is to remove timer for REMOVING charm from items. I'd like to experiment with different combo of charms, and it's just not realistic with each removal requiring like 1hr timer for level 5 charm (here goes that IAP angle again).

    Does anyone receive this message? I'm running on T-mobile 3G on my unlocked iPhone. This appears as soon as the main menu loads, and I can't dismiss it, so I can't play at all. My gf does not receive anything like this, even though she is on AT&T.

    I've had a chance to play it for a few days now and I'm impressed. I haven't had to spend any money yet and haven't had to grind too much. I thought I hit a wall but discovered I could complete the more difficult "wave" quests via multiplayer. That's very helpful.

    I don't know if its because I'm not too far in or not but my first concern is not seeing much by way of dungeons. I hope it doesn't mainly consist of multiplayer "wave" hubs. I'd enjoy some single player dungeon crawling a lot.

    You can, but you need to be like 6+ levels ahead of whatever mob it is you're facing in order to do so :L

    I don't mind the timer per-say but the time scaling and the fact that you can't remove individual charms is annoying. Merging a level 5 gem takes an hr and chage and that's just ridiculous. Other pet peeves include timers for crafting and the fact that individual gems take up a slot in your inventory; I bought a $5.00 set of gems for the sole purpose of more inventory space and I still have to deal with running out of space in the middle of an arena wave.

    It still is a little shocking to see what gamers are having or are willing to endure these days.
    On the other hand - if Gameloft would sell this at Premium $9.99, they'd unlikely to break even for the next months (if ever), due to cheapskates, piracy, high development costs and so on...
    Bastion works fine on iPhone 5, so I want a Torchlight port without IAP please! :)
    DH4 already dropped out of the Top 50 free games in the German App Store and in now "only" at #74.

    BEWARE
    I've been grinding coop yesterday to farm a bit and in about five or ten matches there was a glitch so that we played with five (!) players, which was fine as it was easier to beat the arenas.
    BUT later I realized that my level 18 Sentinel changed to a level 20 Battleworn, resulting in an empty shop and in the crafting section are only swords not bows and the corresponding Battleworn armours available to craft.

    I have a feeling that the multiplayer glitch mentioned above is responsible for that, so beware when you're playing with five people in coop.
    I haven't heard back from the Gameloft customer service, but keep you posted here.

    Btw, has anyone got syncing across devices to work?
    Or is it a feature like in Real Racing 3 that will be added sometime later. It is mentioned in the loading screens, but I haven't found it yet or got it to work signing in to my account.

    EDIT: Leveled up my character to see if that helps, nope.
    Now I'm a level 19 Battleworn, sigh

    What a POS!
    So be careful with spending time or maybe even money (glad i didn't) on this

    Bug?

    Hi,

    Long time lurker. I have been enjoying DH4. I think I hit a bug. In solo, elite mode, I see a yellow circle. When I stand in it, nothing happens. It does not turn with and disappear. No demons come.

    I have tried removing the game from the running list of apps. I tried restarting the device. My impression is that if I delete the game and reinstall, then I will have lost my IAP and my progress.

    Anyone else have an issue like this?

    I installed the game on my iPhone, been playing before on iPad, and my progress did not sync.
    So my guess is that reinstalling will erase your progress and the consumable IAPs of course

    This has been one of my biggest gripes with GL's freemium games. Enforcement of, at least periodic, online connectivity so they can verify *you* aren't getting anything from them, but zero effort on their part to give you anything for the inconvenience.
