Some tips from lvl 25+ Battle Mage Once you get to Giants Steppe instance you fight lvl 25-33+ mobs and if you can defeat all 10 waves and 3 bosses you can easily make 150,000+++ gold per 15 minutes. As you level up, higher tier equipment becomes available in shop. The gold gear is decent once fully upgraded. Focus on Life Leech, damage, crit and crit damage. Gives you most survival. I believe Battle mage is the fastest grinder as it's ranged and aoe normal attack plus some powerfull AOE.
Yes, team deathmatch and free for all. It's pretty fun actually. I've posted it a couple times now, and I don't want to sound like a broken record, but if people could get past how IN YOUR FACE the IAP is and just play the game for a while, you CAN succeed with gold alone. It just takes longer, but isn't the point to play the game and have fun? I've been grinding xp/gold and having a blast. I did some PvP to get some gems and expanded my inventory and character slots for free. Now I'm working on a couple different characters. It's good times.
I still have faint hope that DH5 will be a epic $6.99 game without IAPs. At least give us one proper sequel to DH2!
Anyone figure out if +poison percent does anything for a mage without a poison adding skill? Does it just add that percentage of damage to your weapon damage?
Well have played the game for 2 straight days now. I am lvl 20. A must is life leech, get as much as you can and the game will be alot more managable. I have 6% now. Its alot of grinding but its fun. You will get better equipment from drops and if you are lucky you can get really good stuff.
I'm having a similar problem this morning. It seems that my potion timers didnt count down at all over night. I woke up with no potions and a fresh 4 hour timer.
I want to play a game in my gaming style, like I want to enjoy it - not like the devs want me to play it. Skyrim comes to my mind. Sacred 2. The Gothic series and Risen. Torchlight. Ravensword 2. GTA Vice City. Galaxy on Fire 2. Borderlands. And several dozen more. I want to play a game where I have the freedom of choice: what to do, to learn, to upgrade, to buy... and not play&grind just to make it possible to survive in one or two specific ways with very specific skills and equipment. I want to play a game where I realize that the devs designed it for my enjoyment. Finally deleted DH4. Haven't spent a buck.
Yeah, day 2 for me with just a 20 gem price tag where my potions should be. I've been trying to get through the Mage academy with no potions...
O how do I love multiplayer in games with massive IAP weapons. I'm level 15 rogue and getting one shotted by level 3 mages. When I do hit the Mage I barely do dmg. I have been rapped by level 3-5 players. I have 2300 health. 1123 dmg per sec I have life leech 30% poison dmg 10% ice dmg 15 % lightning dmg 3% fire dmg 18.687 health regen/s I'd love if they just removed the health potion timer and leave everything else or just let me buy the game outright. This game is truly remarkable but its hidden in IAP model.
Sounds like pay-to-win multiplayer. If you have no skill, buy over-powered weapons. Some recent Gameloft, EA and Gamevil games start telling me that iOS gaming is becoming a farce.
Question for devs or whoever talks to GAMELOFT, Crafting is 100% correct? Since I will be pretty pissed if my Crystal Dirks break or fail to craft or whatever. Oh and is there a fee to craft those OP weapons? I've just been farming Black Irons for now. So then I can get some Crystal dirks. Should take me a day or two, since I get 9 black irons in about an hour or so
IAP sucks, so does your stat. When I was lvl15, I had over 6000 dps. And about 6600hp. I didn't spend a dime btw. What surprises me is the fact that you were expecting to win in pvp!
You can't get those stats without gem items. I am up to 22 through just grinding and my stats are nowhere near those. I bought the $160k weapon (the best gold one available at tier 23) and upgraded it to max and have the best gear that drops for where I am in the game (tier 17). I've only had 3 of the 1% leach items drop and merged 2 of them. Having some fun, but it remains a grindfest.
If you want a good laugh, go to Gameloft's homepage and checkout their take on DH4 and their highly censored comment section.
I never expected anything, except to be one shotted by a lvl Mage. In pvp I handled my own mostly 12-5 type stats after a round. Only thing that is irritating is a lvl 4 Mage killing me in 1-2 shots and me not being able to do much dmg to him. That's great for you! I'm glad you do over 6,000 dmg and have a ton of hit points. How about instead of remarking how great you are, pass on your wisdom in achieving such feats?
My potions aren't regenerating at all. I used all 3 but instead of a timer I just have to 20 gem option to buy potions. Been that way for 2 days now
