This game is very interesting...the graphics are nice and the storyline seems interesting (I am not yet that far yet) but what I hate about this game is that you need gems to buy potions. Come on! While not gold.. Why gems...?
I have seen different discussing pertaining to the 3 limit potions, timers, and being required to purchase more with gems. While I tend not to use allot of potions while playing games, I understand that people have many different play styles. Some people play very aggressive or character types that take allot of damage and, therefore, use more potions. It seems unfair to punish those who find this game more challenging, have a different play style, or try to force them to play in a different manner.
Hey guys. Look the AppStore rating. In the US it's 2.5/5. Go rate the app. Surely they can't ignore having such a low rating. It probably won't change one little thing but at least it's sending a message.
Well, to be honest, I used the Connector's tips to abuse the system - mainly only getting a new car when necessary for a different cup and just doing some upgrades. That worked pretty well for me, but I wasn't trying to play for hours straight. Anyway, that's for another thread.
Lol..I remember you and a few others from the DH3 thread. I did try this game for a few minutes and as you mentioned, it feels a bit to similar to DH3 that I already felt "burnt out". lol.. But once I permanently have more space, I'll give this game a good try again..and maybe play a class that I didn't play in DH3 like a mage class. Playing the iOS Mass Effect Infiltrator lately (after getting it during Christmas through EA's slot machine thing, but never really tried out the game) and its the first FPS/third person shooter that I can play without getting dizzy and am fully enjoying.
How many waves is the Wargame Academy, anyone know? I only got to wave 2, but I'm sure I can do better because if your careful you can pretty much run in circles and kill them slowly, at least with the mage character. My ranger is there too and I have basically no clue since the skills arent nearly as good.
I think 3 then a boss at the end, I passed that arena one and am stuck on the next one as its even harder.. I will prevail though!
I made it to wave 3 I think, it had 4 powerful mages, I'm a level 6 ranger if I can get a better bow. But until then I think I can make it.
Is this game really that hard? I picked up a 1800 dmg weapon at level 9 and passed warmage academy easily. Later I found a weapon with even higher dmg.
Hello again GameLoft Here is a few key suggestions that mirror the general community: - inventory space is so limited and even the items you have equipped take up space. As you pick up gems they also take up inventory space. If you expand your inventory space, then play another character, you do not have the same expanded inventory and items you find on one character can not be shared with other characters? - This is a terrible, terrible design flaw in so many ways. It doesnt encourage or improve the game in any way shape or form, in fact its detrimental to the amount of time we are forced to micromanage our inventory and how often we have to do it considering how often we pick up items and gems. - There needs to be a option to toggle the "shop" button from the game screen. When i am fighting, exploring there is about 20% of my view that is blocked by the line on which the "shop" button is. This line just takes up space and blocks the view, i can put buttons with customize HUD on that area but then you cannot press these buttons. I would be willing to pay money to get his turned off. - I already spent $70+ on the game, and i still get the inventory "buy this or that" and the things it is offering me is worse than what i have now... it is just taking up my valuable inventory screen view. - The targeting for ranged classes is glitchy, not responsive like i would expect. - In PVP fighting free for all for example, it is impossible to chase someone down because everyone is the same run speed. A level 1 person can run away from a lvl 10+ person forever... this is extremely frustrating. - There is no tactical combat roll, and when using skills there is a terrible terrible delay between hitting the button and the skill actually happening. There is way too much lag between actually pressing a skill and it doing something and many times it doesnt even respond. - Monsters are incredibly dumb, no other way to explain how the ysee you and run blindly to their deaths. There is no exploding monsters, monsters that run, hide, or monsters that do other things. - PvP/CoOp lobby chat is hard to use, its not on same window as "ready" page. More to come, Let me know about the above suggestions please
I would say so and it seemed to come about sooner than the first arena so that didnt help getting better gear that much.
*sigh* I am currently in that area (Wargame Academy) I managed to go through wave 1.. But I think I really need to grind a lot...
It's cool that Gameloft have some form of representative on here looking for feedback - hoping its clear from this forum and AppStore reviews what the issues are. Prob nothing will change, but hoping DH5 isn't as p!ss poor as this. I have faith that the general iOS populace would prefer a one-off payment for the main game, and then would be happy to cough up extra cash for decent updates - maybe new characters, new missions etc. Generally, seems current DH4 model stinks in most opinions, but I guess "we" tend to lean on negatives in forums. In this screenshot, is it me or does it not say what the item would do if I coughed up? Is this the perfect example of DH4 trying to suck cash from me? Only 35 gems!!! What a bargain!!! Maybe a close competition with the vanity armour you can buy but that does not improve character stats - WTF!!!
The key is to grind for gold to upgrade your weapons and put gems in them. I triple gem-ed everything and got past it with ease.
The gems arent actually all that helpful. However, I did just find my first life leach gem, and I could see that making a big difference. I wonder if life leach works with skills or just normal attacks?
