Agreed. There's the normal TA whatever, but then there's whatever that was. I actually smiled when I read C7's above post... As for the game, I for one am done piling on Gl. The recent changes they made (particularly regarding Coins and Cash) to Zombiewood were shockingly good and more than fair, not to mention their customer service (especially considering the size of the company) has blown me away... Not sure what is going on with them culture-wise, but my faith in them as reasonable people trying to make games and money has grown exponentially over the past few months. DBC
It is a little absurd how much memory and battery DH4 is eating up. Multi-tasking seems to be almost impossible. The drop in and pick up where you left off aspect of DH2 was a huge selling point for me and part of what made it so enjoyable. Now it seems that if I close DH4, open up a web browser and go back to DH4 it will have been dumped from memory and have to fully load up and put my character at a "checkpoint" location. I'm using an iPhone 4S and I've tested if it improves any on a reboot. It does not.
Why do these designers feel they have to reinvent the wheel?? Do they not realize if they remade dungeon hunter 2 gave it a new story, skill sets, maybe upgraded the graphics engine everyone would have been happy? Charge anywhere from 99 cents to 4.99 and people will pay that for a good game. Freemium is crap all the way around.
It'd make the Warmage an enjoyable endeavour. As it stands, unless you rebind the buttons the character is unplayable. The inability to lock the v-stick in place means activating skills on accident, and using the other side means not being able to shoot your powers while backing up.
Everybody that talks about freemium models, it's because it makes money on a larger scale. The number of people that'll pay 4.99 for a game is probably on a small vocal minority. A game that has a balance between price and iap that can't abuse game mechanics is my preferred route. Maybe extra costumes and such.
Ok guys. Farming for those fancy tier 43 weapons with 7k+ attack is possible but painstakingly slow. You get ONE Greystone in the Varonthia castle everytime you beat the boss there. So 90 Greystones to make the 30 Firestones to get the Dragolith. You need ANOTHER 180 to make the 90 Firetones to make the Crystal Dirks. Now, all you need is 90 Icestones to get enough purple Stones in order to make the OP daggers(I'm blademaster). I'm assuming in later levels they give you more stones per boss. Hm, the game isn't DH3 IAP bad, but the IAP is somewhat discouraging. Although I'm glad there isn't the Keys to open chest deal or whatever. I don't know if what I said was mentioned already, but oh well
I'd like to know what kind if moron shells out 1,250 gems on vanity armor that does nothing for your character. Sad but there are probably a few thousand rich idiots out there that would buy into that bullshit.
You have to admit, the IAP isn't AS BAD AS DH3. It's still pretty bad, but not 'use keys to open treasure or wait' bad.
Also as a note, this game unlike DH1, 2, diablo, sacred, etc is not a loot fest. Loot only drops seldomly from my experience
7 on one, 5 on another. I'm considering paying $7 to show GL that is what I am willing to pay. I will use it exclusively on potions... Maybe some vanity armor. Naw, not dropping a penny. Anyone wanna help me with the Warmage Council?
Only for the arenas, which the Council is. Anyways, I'll write a small post on how rarity works. Interesting finds.
