OK, lets get started... This is not facts but my guess of how the levels in Blood match works. The levels of the bosses are based on how far you have come in eternal battle, that is at least what I have noticed. Try redoing eternal battle once again and dont go as far as you can but midgame and try blood match again, it might lower the levels. Its either that or how far progress of godlike you have come...just another guess.
Save the game using iTools, that way you get the same game on another device, and at the same time a local save so you can start experimenting with your class, using other gems and skills. Kinda like a trainer for D2
Does anyone know what the symbol that appears below your coins when in the inventory menu is? It's like a red tear drop on a piece of paper. No worries
1. Paywall? I dont really get that term but if you mean if you need to spend money to get as far as you can get then no, you can get as far with just hard work. 2. weapons and armor are based on Tier, from 1(actually I think its about 3 or something like it) to 100 (as far as I've seen, currently level 105 and no new gear so far). The best weapon available (buy with gems/gold or crafting) is a tier 97 weapon bought with gems or a tier 100 by crafting (need 30 spiritstones, available from level 70). I've heard that the gem-weapon is better than the crafted one but I haven't tried it. Spiritstones used to be hard to get but with the introduction of blood match they are easy to come by. 3. You have access to 3 pots (mana and health pot - same pot) and they regenerate every 2 hours. Once you have used all 3 pots you can pay 20 gems (200 gems 2$) for one pot or buy 3 of them for 50 gems at the store. Up until recently there was a bug so you could buy them for 200 gold (like 50 copper in wow, easy money) but that has been fixed with the latest patch. You can win potions from the blood match and there is no limit of how many potions you can really have, but they only regenerate up to 3 pots. I currently have over 1000 pots on two of my characters but because of my health-leech charms (sockets) I rarely use them (only for mana). 4. Endgame is looking for the best charms to assist your build and: Come as far as you can in eternal battle (opened once you have run through the whole game once). Be the best in PVP, TIP: go stun! OP! or Be the best in Blood match (the best players get to the limit (2147483647 blood points) in less than 30 minutes, dont ask me how. Many dungeons are available in co-op so if you run into an obstacle too hard to clear, try with your friends or random players. Use your craft-items (Black Iron, Dragolith, Ancient Crystal, Voidstone and Spiritstone) for weapons primarily, they are best used that way. CHECK THE STORE FREQUENTLY! You can buy weps and armor for gold as well as gems, the game usually notifies you if there are new items available in the store, if you have cleared a dungeon or levelled up. Tier 94 items (best until level 70) are available in the store once you have cleared Eternal battle wave 21 so that is a goal you should aim for as soon you have enabled Eternal battle (I cleared the game at around level 35 so you can get a BIIIG boost in dmg and HP early in the game if you have money saved up) The tier 94 weapon cost 69 million gold though and 21 million to upgrade (3 upgrades available for every item). Wave 10 opens Tier 70 and wave 15 opens up Tier 83. DH4 wiki has some good info for all who are interested. Anything else? Just ask.
The Archer class is not hard to play, quite easy actually but you have to work harder on dodging instead of just rushing in as you have to do with the melee-classes. The archers arrows are all piercing so if you get the enemies in line you can kill them all with the same arrow/s/. Easy on aim for Soldier- and Power-charms but once you reach over 10k DPS start going for Agility-charms, boosts dmg more than powercharms, that is if you have any crit. If you have gems to buy Eagle Eye then do it, at rank 20 its 100% crit chance and then its Agility-charms-farmingtime. I have posted my build 2 or 3 pages back. It has been changed though so my current build is: All my skills are rank 20 Active: Haste/Roll/Quick Shot Passive: Arcane Archery/Frost Arrows/Eagle Eye/Poisoned Arrows Spirit Spell: Benediction (for DMG-boost, not for the crit, since I already have 100%) You can go Divine Guidance instead of any of the above for faster Spirit spell. If you ask yourself how I can have that many skill points I have gotten many Book of skills (2 skillpoints) and Book of Knowledge (5 skillpoints), easy to come by if you know how (DONT BUY SKILLPOINTS IN SKILL SECTION!!!).
You can get Free retries for blood match from your friends as a gift, if you do it will say 1/3, 2/3 or 3/3 based on how many of your friends gave you tickets. then you just retry Blood match instantly instead of waiting the 10 minutes (if you survived for 5 minutes) or paying 20 gems.
@WoT-Lanfear wow! That's a lot of info. I'm still undecided on what class to play. Based on previous experience, and judging by the look of the classes, the Battleworn seems to be synonymous to either a straight up Tank or Paladin, Blademaster is more like a Rogue, while the other two is your typical Mage and Archer... Is that about right? I'm thinking of building a Battleworn as I've always played a tank/Paladin in all my games... Any tips and character builds?
Ok I am intregued now, how do you get these then? I have never heard of them! Edit - nvm found them and figured out how Thanks that's been bugging me! I haven't it any friends on this game, not sure how to add them! I presume it's through the GL ID thing. If anyone wants to add me my if is 'asinrope'
Questions for Gameloft Ryan and info for players. A quick question for Ryan, how are the starting levels of the first blood match boss calculated? I'm level 110 now, but during the last few levels I've seen the first blood match boss start as high as ~130 and as low as the high 80s with others starting at level 95. It's been all over in the last three weeks and I was level 100 long before the recent patch. Also, not really a question but developer feedback: Hardcore mode is really disappointing. It just seems to be replaying the single player campaign with mobs starting in the low level 40s. The 5 tiered difficulty on many levels already provided plenty of 40+ content, Hardcore even as replaying of the single player campaign could have started at level 100 or at least in the 80s to provide some challenge to level 100+ players. Some info for players I have a 110 Sentinel and some slightly different opinions than previous Sentinel posters on min maxing at end game. Stats at level 110: Health 221k Energy 1554 DPS a little over 5 million unbuffed Primary active skills: Quick Shot (level 1), Bear Trap (level 1), Roll (level 20) Primary passives: Eagle Eye (20), Frost Arrows (20), Bloodsteal (20), Endurance (20). Spirit spell: Rejuvenation (20) Commentary on skills: I sometimes play with Haste (20), or Barrage in place of Bear Trap but always end up going back to Bear Trap. It does huge damage with no additional points and in combination with decent energy on hit it can also help you recover huge chunks of energy vs multiple opponents and large bosses. I do not put points in Quick Shot or Bear Trap because it keeps the energy cost as low as possible allowing for spammable Quick Shot. My damage is already absurd, more damage is not worth the increased energy cost. Speaking of damage, with 5 million dps damage is never a problem. Offensive spirit spells are wasted. The only danger at this level is being 1 shotted or bursted by high level eternal battle mobs/bosses or pvp. Given that, the damage immunity on Rejuvenation becomes the most valuable spirit spell by far. Gems: Once you have any kind of decent damage modifiers, ignore all dots. They scale very badly. Radiant and Soldier charms do not scale as well as cold and lightning. Power charms are useless. Sell dot gems and never put skills in passive dots on any class. Total waste at higher levels. Once you have Eagle Eye on a Sentinel, you should avoid triangle slots entirely, unless you want 1 run speed gem in your gear. What I use: Full Saintly set Circle x 9 all 100% crit damage Square x 3 5% leech, 7 mana on hit, 6 mana on hit Star x 3 23% attack speed, 20% attack speed, 24% lightning damage Ring: Spirit Ring, with 80% crit damage and 20% ice damage it's the best offensively itemized ring in the game for a Sentinel. I have the ring from ranking in the top 500 on blood match but it only gives run speed and health, so I just give those to lower level characters and keep using the Spirit Ring on my Sentinel.
Honestly, I'm not sure how the events in the Blood Match are calculated. Let me reach out to the team and see what they say. I'll post once I get an answer from them! That's really weird that you are all over the place like that though.
Book of Skills This may be a stupid question. I have won the Book of Skills (I assume, it was one of the books) in the Silver Lottery. I thought it gave me two skill points to distribute. However, there is nothing I can find anywhere that shows that I won it. I have no skill points to use. The book still has 0/3, though I'm not even sure what that means. Anyway, any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
Blood Match Difficulty Hey Ryan, I am level 105 and it recently became impossible to get past the first one or two bosses in Blood Match. Bosses are starting at level 225. Please let the team know this is really taking the fun out of the game. I have put in a request in game as well.
Sounds good I'll see what I can find out and give them a heads up. Thanks for submitting a ticket as well. The more information we get the better!
You find the book in your potion-inventory, use it and then go to your skills and there you have it, 2 skillpoints ready to be used.
Ancient Ruins Hi to RYAN. Please answer me thease? PLS is there something new about the Ancient Ruins. I have killed all the bosses from the beginning all the way to vespa and still i couldnt go thru the ancient ruins. Can someone pls help me I am stuck 4 Weeks and i dont now what to do. PLS for some solution or there is still a bug. PLS
Just noticed the iOS support update Hey Ryan, I just recently noticed that DH4 is no longer compatible with iOS 5.1.x, which is sad news for me because I used to play the game without any issues on my iPad 2 running iOS 5.1.1. Maybe I was reading the app update specs wrong or something?
I don't know of anything new for the Ancient Ruins right now. Have you contacted our customer support team about this? It's possible they have a solution for this bug. Let me know though! I'm seeing the same thing on the "Compatibility" section on iTunes. If you still have it on your device are you able to open and play the game? If so, I'd just keep doing that. If you can't, I'll have to ask about this change because I didn't see it mentioned in the last update notes.
Hey Ryan, thanks for the speedy reply. I had temporarily deleted the game a couple weeks ago because I needed extra space on my device, but always had plans on re-downloading it. In theory, the game should still work if it were on my device....but dropping support for 5.1.x would really hurt my experience with this game.
Hopefully it doesn't. Let me know when you download the game again, either here or in a PM, and tell me if you run in to any issues. I'll be able to follow up with the team after hearing of any specific problems.
