The graphics look nice but I think I'll pass on this one.
Can't stand this freemium crap either, I'm not buying anything with
that in it, never have and never will. Bought the previous 2 DH and most
of Gamelofts games so far (except for Let's Golf 3 and MC3), but it seems
the DH franchise is coming to an end for me now...

I don't mind IAP done right, but the freemium that gameloft do sucks, they are ruined as a gaming company for me... I have always bought their games... In fact I have bought every one of them, but the IAP in mc3 was so crap that I decided to boycott them from now on.. I haven't bought Gangstar rio and won't ever buy from them again.

If we all chose not to download dh3, then perhaps they might have to change their marketing strategy back to a 'buy the game you get the game'.. You know, like how games used to be

I highly doubt it, I don't think theres enough of us on TA to make much of a difference. But I don't see the problem with IAP like in MC3, as its totally optional, you make enough money through matches to buy everything quite easily.

Yeah MC3's iap isnt as bad as Lets Golf 3... but its the slippery spiral to worse Iap if people keep buying it... i blame smurfs village

IAP like in MC3 is fine with me, but freemium really ruins the experience. :(

You all know the worst part of this whole thing, right?

If this is freemium, you'd better buy the first two soon because they'll be pulled from the market just like Let's Golf 1/2, Brothers in Arms 2, GT Racing...

This will also mean that if there's any horrible bugs due to firmware incompatibilities in the future, you won't be able to play those games you bought anymore because they can't/won't update them.

It's the worst bullshit I've ever seen from a game company.

Well, based on the screenshots, this definitely follows the pay-to-play freemium formula. It's a real shame, this game had potential. But gameloft is getting greedy once again and killing another of it's greatest franchises to make more money. Today is a sad day.

hmmm... some of the gameplay they showed didn't have the timer. I wonder if there will be an option to buy the game? Also, the more I see of six guns, the less I like. they just confirmed its freemium, and that there's a lot of unlockable equipment and locations aka we have to pay for every little part of the game.

Anybody had noticed that is the icons of "World of Warcraft"'?

My guess : until the official release date or the official preview, they always can remove the Freemium system ? Still in work so.. But I agree with you, it looks not so good !

I'm completely fed up with the monetization of games on the AppStore! The freemium model should be banned, and IAP's should only work the way they do on Xbox Live.

Anyone know what's up with the time limit in those official screens? I wonder if they are just for boss battles or something. Kinda odd

To me, it looks like Gameloft's way of putting in the energy system they had in Let's Golf 3 into Dungeon Hunter 3. Please prove me wrong. If this ends up being the case, I'm not going to bother downloading DH3 just like I never bothered downloading LG3. Having to buy iAPs just to play more of a game is just obnoxious. Pitiful way to destroy their best single-player series if I'm right.

As I know, the DH3 Freemium and IAP is only for power up and gears. You are no need to wait energy to fill up before you go out for adventure. You can finished the game without any IAP.
