    Hmmm... Freemium.

Btw, the textures definitely look cleaner than Dungeon Hunter 2. But, I haven't even played Dungeon Hunter 2 or 1 before, lol.

That flame effect looks awesome. And it looks better that DH2 overall. I'm just super excited because DH2 was such a disappointment with all those bugs.

But yeah, I hope it won't go freemium

Look at all that crap at the top of the screen and tell me this doesn't look freemium. :(

Loving the new screens. Enjoyed DH2 quite a lot but if they give this one the full freemium treatment sadly I won't be touching it.

Dang I really hope gameloft doesn't start going down the freemium path. Looks really good though, loved the first two games.

Dear lord, don't go freemium! I still consider the first two to be required playings on the iOS - all around amazing titles. If this goes freemium, it really is going to push me away from Gameloft even more than Let's Golf 3 did.

Wow... the graphics are an entire league above DH2. I hope to the iOS god (Steve Jobs?) that this game isn't freemium.

Give Gameloft some slack - they are among the most responsive devs around when it comes to giving the market what it wants. When they released Starfront and Sacred Odyssey as unlocks, the community revolted, and they almost immediately released full versions for the folks who complained. They are very in touch with their playerbase. That doesn't mean they are afraid to try new currency models and venture into new areas, such as MMOs. We have to admire them as a company for being both ambitious and also good at understanding what people want.

While I agree with most of what you said, they shouldn't be able to ruin franchises that we know and love by converting them into cheap freemium games. It's just wrong.

I think freemium model is mostly only work on casual games and not hardcore games like this one.

Still looks as s****y as it ever has.

No interest, especially when IAP is so prevalent.

I was hoping Gameloft would be the "BIG" company to charge flat rate prices, not also include an IAP model.

    Tisk tisk.

Now, there is no hope...as even Crescent Moon is going down that road. If iOS migrates entirely to that sort of model, I'm done.

I'll pay $40 for a dedicated handheld game, and shell out more for significant DLC once the 3DS update is ready.

To me I'd rather pay 30-40$ for a great game that is complete, and not have micro transactions cheapen the experience.

On iOS, I'm happy to pay 10$+ to keep IAP out of games.

I guess I'm in the minority.
