@madman100 Nothing better to do? Gaming is my life during the week and has turned out to be a very lucrative and fulfilling one for the most part. Also, this website can be accessed via mobile. I have the weekends and can take breaks from this when I choose to. You have nothing better to do the insult me or make insinuations. Most, if not all, my comments stay on the topic of the game. It's not hating. It's speculating, analyzing, and in all honesty having a conversation. Never mind, I guess we'll just have to agree to disagree on this one. I don't believe in AppStore Vampirism nor do I believe in the way Gameloft implements their system. I've also recognized the lack of quality or depth added to recent games, not that I thought a ton of their games had it anyways (just some). So, I guess we'll just stand at separate sides of this. If the game is awesome, I'll praise it. If it's bad or a money whore, I'll vilify it. If it's good but has faults, I'll acknowledge the good things but still call out the bad. So on and so forth. You can choose to agree or disagree. That's what the forum is for. I just want to get back on the topic of the game. The marketing thing is going nowhere. Sorry for calling out the horrifically implemented freemium model and the fact that I'm willing to pay developers the premium price they deserve. i'm pretty blatant with how I feel about the freemium model. Don't think I ever disguised it. Most of comments have been about Gamelofts lack of gameplay in their recent games. You never post back anything about why the freemium system is good or why the gameplay was excellent. Just like someone said on another thread, they don't really care because it's free and not worth their time, so they'll leave it up to me to make a differnce. Most of that was probably sarcastic but it vividly illustrates a mind set. Enough, guys. I personally hate this game but I can see why other people might/will like it. It is a matter of people having different taste. So please don't turn game discussion into personal issue.
Most of my comments were about the game and the freemium model. Apparently, I keep trolling him into discussion. He doesn't have reply back, like he always says, and he's the one that keeps turning it personal. Again he's not a fish so I didn't lure him into anything. This is something my dad would say. Also, I said I agree to disagree but he had the nerve to post his very tactful last comment. Bravo!
We are raging about them making a game series terrible (by taking out the story and putting in some wave based survival mode), just so the game can be free.
The "rage" or at least disappointment is that we enjoyed Dungeon Hunter 1 and 2 and were excited to play this years evolution of the game only to find out that they are throwing away most of the game elements that we liked. I'm good with GL making a Dungeon Bros and will probably fool around with it if its not too painful but I'm sad that there will not be a real Dungeon Hunter game this year. If you were not into DH 1 and 2 and now are excited for DH 3 then you are the target audience that GL wants to bring in. It's like the way I look at all these people that love reality tv while shows I like are cancelled. I'll go back further and say it's like when Disco took over music with me clinging to my rock and roll. I'm just hoping I won't have to wait as long for things to swing back this time -Greg
