How are you guys handling weapon collection later in the game? I find that by the 200 day mark, if you have been consistently enchanting, you won't get loot that's even remotely close to being an upgrade, especially if you're running on auto mode. I feel like the first epic weapons I get in the early game end up being the same weapons that I'm still using hundreds of days later. Makes the loot model pretty dull.
I bought the Automatic pack so I feel compelled to stay with it for a while, but I understand your perspective.
Well, this game is interesting but it has it flows: 1. incondite interface 2. it lacks music diversity. only 2 themes - i alredy deadly bored by them 3. overall unconsistency of graphics. there is hires menu icon, pixel heroes in battle and giantic 6x6 pix icons of skills and gems. spend some time, make all pixels to one standart size and you will get 4. gameplay is very simple, it's not evolving. try to add some traps building. try to add new dungeoon designs, it's not fun to have just one blask room with door. still it's fun and reminds me of Dungeon Keeper.
Epic is a waste compared to.legendary. When you get the shopping mall, check every day for legendaries99% minimum. Then you can mod it and you'll be doing sooooo much more damage.
Bank/Statue income really does fall off later on. I would suggest instead to bring both Living Sword and Skeleton for their Bounty Hunter skill for gold. Once you have fully modded your equip and fully upgraded the laboratory, enhance and battleroom(i suggest upgrading in that order) you will not need gold as much so you can switch out the Skeleton(keep the living sword coz it has very useful passives) for another character that can do more dps or better skillset. If you do bring both Living sword and Skeleton, keep bank/statue upgrades to a minimum like 10 or 20 at the start since they wont be leveling up the bounty hunter skill much early on.
Don't forget though that if you have two characters with the 'Bounty Hunter" skill for example, only the highest one counts, not both. Does anyone know if you have the "auto battle" skill enabled (which cuts damage by 50%) and then touch the screen to override it, does the 50% penalty stop or still apply?
wait so the same skills dont stack? i didnt jnow touching the screen overrides the command. i do know if you turn autobattle off in the settings midbattle you get full damage back
Yeah party skills: if you tap the question mark on the skills page it says "Party skills affect all crewmembers, but cannot be overlapped. The one with the highest skill level will have effect." I did an experiment with the auto-battle, and its pretty clear you don't have to tick the setting, you can just touch and do full damage. day 196: no touch 37 million damage day 197: touching, ~130million damage day 198: no touch, but got distracted and didn't see the damage day 199: no touch, ~80 million damage day 200: touching, 231 million damage Tip for getting to transition from insane to END difficulty: increasing your level start not only increases your skills but gives you an equal level weapon, which is a huge help getting through that first day/battle before you can equip inherited items etc...If you can get to day 950 or so on insane, you are looking at about 30,000 rebirth stones...on END difficulty, I got to day 1005, rewarding around 150,000 of them. Think I'll have to do another run before GOD though. Going to the endless waves, Mr. Death's cripple is really useful! Combine that with orc or slime's dodge% increase, and I might have a shot at getting to wave 300. His fear is similar to the ogre's threaten in effect, but has a different name, so I wonder if this would stack... But right now I'm using the wraith when leveling for the bank bonus. I don't really need Mr. Death until I need those bonuses, pushing my limit. I am finding that you will have most of your damage done by 1-3 of your heroes. The other two? make sure they have good passives/buff/debuffs more than damage.
Thanks for the info about the touch/no touch auto battle, I'm about to do the same test myself. Also thanks for all the tips and experience you're sharing here, it's great stuff. Especially since I have quite a ways to go before hitting the levels you're at.
I don't care what anyone says......I love the little jingle that plays when you finish a dungeon and you have to choose your level up abilities. I always find myself tapping my fingers to the beat. It was worth the price of admission just to have that on my iPad. #
Mr. Slime is my favorite. The fireballs fully upgraded cover a lot of ground, almost the whole spawning area when a tripleshot procs. The last projectile skill also gives huge damage spikes.
Found a bug in the game, not sure if it's intended: I cleared easy mode to level 501, and reincarnated before tapping the "complete" button for surviving 100, 250 and 500 days in the mission list. After reincarnating, my missions progress became 0 it's not a lot of rebirth stones but that kinda killed my enthusiasm to continue the game for the moment
Hey guys, I found a good team comp based on party skills. Use it if you want... Orc, Mr. Blade, Mr. Eye, Wraith, Living Sword.. You get about 12 party skills with no overlapping party skills Mr. Blade deals like 95% of all damage so you don't need to worry about damage and only party skills. For endless waves I guess you can replace Mr. Eye with Sunstar for the healing skill
Interesting. I find Mr. Blade does more damage early game, but by day 500 Mr. Eye starts KILLING EVERYTHING. Especially when he is awakened. With his legendary necklace, his special runs almost constantly because of the damage. I'll attach a screenshot—that's an awakened eye as a mercenary (I'm leading with the snake to try him out) And, some of you appreciated my tips earlier, so here's another round on character choices and some other things I figured out! •I will second that Orc is very helpful with the builder skill and reducing the chance to take damage. Bash is great for enemies that get close. Awakened, his vanguard skill DOUBLES your hit points. Also, his awakened massive weapons damage will help you clear out whoever Mr. Eye doesn't get •Mr. Eye does massive damage mid to late game. Scientist will improve research for early on, cripple will halve damage, and the anti-mutant will help tame the enemies. After you level up your laser, pump eagle eye up as he will always be able to reach enemies on the far side. •Magic Users: Wraith has the bank skill and can bounce the enemy away, giving you another shot at bashing it. Cheer will double skill use, and awakened, he will increase your specials damage (which should synergize with eye's super laser as it is running all the time!). Magic girl ONLY has cheer, and her heal is only good if you are awakened...even then, use the bank bonus from wraith to buy more regen per wave. Mr. Soul only has fog—not as valuable as what wraith has. Slime has the same damage reduction as orc so don't need it, and reducing mercenary fees isn't that great. Mr. Death? You've already got cripple with Mr. Eye, and the healing isn't worth it compared to the regen. It's more important to reduce damage then to heal from it. •Mr. Blade / Snake both are pretty strong awakened. Snakes blacksmithing to increase mods is very important (see below). Scavenger will net you more money. Fear slows down the enemy. Awakened, you get healing 100 per enemy killed, and detection reducing enemy evade by 90% (handy for hiding mutants),....But then, Mr. Blade does a lot of damage and increases damage to normal enemies with prey, but that' s it! Synergy-wise I don't think his attack style benefits from an awakened skeleton/living sword's party skills giving ricochet & penetration. •Skeleton & living sword: If you get a legendary accessory for one of these, then use that one! the gold bonuses are really helpful, especially if you couple it with some gold+ accessories. If you are using Mr. Blade, then the sword will give you fear. You'll also get moment for instant reload...I'd go with the javelin, because Mr. Eye will take care of most things (check the screenshot) I do like the bone special more than mutilate, though. •Nameless doesn't have any party skills. He's good awakened damage-wise, but Mr. Blade is a better choice imho. As far as rebirth stone characters, I'd get Mr. Eye (scientist can help you get those research achievements!) or Mr. Blade—but honestly I'd recommend putting your rebirth stones into the stats bonuses so you can play at higher difficulties before getting Mr. Blade. But Mr. Eye is worth it Other pointers: •The blacksmith mod makes a huge difference! Without it a level 10 damage mod is a 20% increase, but with it maxed out, you get 50% increase...and that stays with you when you inherit the weapon! •Getting a mod for damage vs. magic and another for armor is very helpful. Try to look at who is getting closer to your dungeon. •Keep your major damage dealer/who can hit a lot targets in the center, but try to have someone strong vs. magic and another vs. armor above and below the center. Seems obvious, but hey. •I think the very top and very bottom spots should also be for your best damage dealers—huge weapons and fireballs will cover more ground going diagonally. I would put magic girl and mr. blade in the 2nd/4th slot because their attack is unaffected by their position. Still not able to take on God mode yet, but I think I'm getting very close...on END mode getting to wave 300 will net about 825 rubies, so I've awakened two mercenaries now—first eye, then orc.
Mr Blade - Underwhelmed I've been reading posts that Mr. Blade does great damage but when I use him, I'm a bit underwhelmed. I've started using Nameless and their damage seems far superior to Mr. Blade but is lacking party skills. Am I missing something?
Enjoying the game so far -- unfortunately lost all my progress by accidentally tapping on cloud load button. Strongly recommend you put a confirmation pop up on that. Lost three days of progress
I feel your pain. I quickly got into the habbit of tapping the cloud icon next to the options button whenever I exit the game.
