Maybe a kind of ? Button that pops up an overlay when you hold it down? I wondered at first as well but then as you level up and check out your characters you get to know the skills pretty well.especially since will say the name of the skill when you use it...or is that on,ly with auto skill? (By the way, when that happens with the math teacher, it covers the math problem. I died getting the wrong answer that way.) Appreciating the steady updates and support GC!
Hi Gamecoaster, I think you should change the current modding system. I having a hard time getting level 11s,12s and instead I keep on getting lvl 6-8s even though my weapons are level 1100+. I don't think it should be that hard for me to get double digit levels. Let me know what you think.
I'll try to show the tooltip. I've modified it to make it easier to raise the level in the last patch, but I'll check again to see if it's too difficult to raise the level.
Thanks for clarifying that for me. # Now I'm no programmer but I have an idea. You know how currently in a battle you can tap the options button and it pauses the game and goes to another screen. Perhaps you could have a pause button next to the skills and that takes you to a screen that has those skill descriptions? Rather than have the description pop up in the heat of battle which would probably cause you to lose sight of some of the enemy. I mean to say things get pretty hectic as you know. # Just an idea. Dont know if that is at all possible.
Sunstar (Magical Girl) @GameCoaster Hi! Am loving the game so far, lots of loot, lots of customizations, fun characters with skills and research options. I have a question about Sunstar (magical girl), she has this skill "Dimensional Kick" and I don't know what it does. I know "Continuous Kicks" are the three 'sparks' and 'Strongest Kicks' are the big circular explosions, so what does Dimensional Kick do? Thanks!
Thank you for your ideas. I'll work on it and see how I can add it. It is a skill that changes basic attack to 'kicking' instead of 'throwing a weapon'.
This might be a bug or it might just be my imagination but I'll put it out there for the dev. I bought the Automatic pack to support the dev but it feels like the Auto Item Sell doesn't always work properly. I'll be running the game for a while and notice that dps of one or more characters is falling behind - looking into their equipment and that character will be far behind the other 4 in terms of item level. So I'll go to manual mode and within a couple days I get a vastly better piece of gear to swap into that character and everything is right again. I'm sure some people will say this is just RNG at work, but its happened 5+ times now.
Thank you for reporting. I still can not figure out exactly what the problem is, but I'll check again to see if there is a problem with the automatic functionality.
Ah thanks GameCoaster, so basically 'Dimensional kick' is your basic attack. And 'Continues kick' divides this basic attack into 3 separate attacks.
Thank you so much, no problem if its a mystery. As an aside it would be great as part of the Automatic pack to be able to designate a couple of buildings for auto-build as well.
I'm not sure if it could be connected to the possible issue I reported a couple of pages back? It doesn't seem to be working properly for me either.
Since the last patch? I have noticed that modding a weapon is costing the same for any level (common, rare, epic, etc) of weapon.
struggling to get icloud save working. It states saved when using iphone, but cannot load it into ipad. any help appreciated
Cool down period for each characters special skill; Does it regen with time in battle or the amount of enemies killed? Also is it possible to show that value on top of the skill icon?
How are you getting mods that high? When I mod a weapon it's always level 1 Edit: Nevermind I figured it out
Hi Gamecoaster, Just wanted to let you know that one of the research tree perks that gives an additional mod slot doesn't actually give an additional mod slot, its still 6 instead of 7. Not significant but just thought I should let you know.
Strategy? Could you share how you got where you are in the game ? What did you buy with blue gems ? I'm sure people are looking for strategies.
Just a few thoughts here, just finished my third ascension. (Stopping because I'm tired of trying the same stage two or three times in order to pass it due to a bad mutation combo on the enemies.) I have been running Ogre (awoken)/Sunstar/Mr. Death/Skeleton/Goblin. For blue stones, crit damage/chance are a good purchase. I also bought a little weapon mastery and additional enhancements per day. The weapon mastery reduction helps out a LOT later on -- my team is level 1900 or so at day 903, but their weapons are level 2800+. This last ascend, I pumped a ton of stones into +research so I could get the research achievements complete. In the early game, Sunstar was clutch for me. Her damage is very good with a legendary wand, and the heals keep me going at day 800+. After day 800 the heals don't really do so much, but that and the life leech skill from Mr. Death keep me alive. Skill levelling: I first tried to level each character's unique passive debuffs to increase survivability since there's no easy way early on to pump damage super high. Ogre has stuff like -50% enemy speed at max level, Sunstar has +skill recharge, Mr. Death has -50% enemy damage, etc. The return on investment for these passives is very good. Afterwards I worked on the +damage and other passives. Forge: Eventually you get to a point where you can max out Enhance (+experience) in the forge. This provides enough XP to let you enhance each weapon twice or more per day if you have the enhance slots and money, so that's free damage growth. Bank and statue income doesn't scale very well, so don't invest more than you need. (My last battle results had me getting 7.6m from the battle, and about 1m from bank/statue -- not like there's anything I can spend the money on right now.) Research: I focused on income first (left side of the tree), then skills (middle), then +XP (right side), then tried to fill in damage (all over the tree basically). Scope is great early on, too, since most characters' ranges are terrible. Also to the dev: thanks for a great game! However, when there are tons of enemies on the screen (like past day 800), my phone locks up hard and requires a reboot. Is there a way to reduce the number of graphics on the screen or something so that things can speed up?
After updating the game it still crashes after waking up my iPhone or iPad from sleep mode. Is there anyway around the crashing?
