Is it just me? Is it just me, or would other people really like to see awesome Bow models for Huntress? Just to add some more suggestions; when u zoom in, why would it zoom into the back of the head of ur character? seems kind counter-intuitive.... zooming all the way in should zoom down and up a little so you see infront of you, rather than your feet. It would also be really cool to have the ability to hold down the attack button to have a special attack, maybe a stronger arrow or sword swipe etc.. and it cud take a slight amount of mana cost... be great for fighting bosses. Ability to open the map and then press a point on ur map and ur character will go to that area ie. sometimes the screen gets pretty busy and its hard to watch wats going on behind the map and on the map at the same time. Unit pathfinding could remedy this with the ability to send ur hero to a particular point on the map. Ability to select towers with a 3-button menu that pops up at the top/bottom of the screen (out of the way of the main screen): Upgrade or Repair or Sell. that way you dont have to open up the whole menu interface that 1. makes the screen busy 2. slows down framerate Ability to select hero with finger which will short-cut to a heal button Great game, its just annoying to bring up that menu for absolutely everything, it gets in the way too much - it shud be more about advanced options like selecting which towers, advanced hero options etc... but the most commonly used abilities like heal/upgrade/repaid/sell shud be more available. One issue cud be if an item has fallen near a Tower and the game doesnt understand whether your selecting the tower or the item, but im sure by clicking on the same area a second time will just automatically switch to the next thing in that area.
PVP/Competitive Modes Oh yeh, and in the console/PC versions it would be AWESOME to have the following gametypes; 1. Competetive - ever played Enfos on WC3? was REALLY fun... same idea where u stop waves of creeps, but there is another team on another map in the same game also trying to stop waves of creeps, but u can cast spells to disrupt their efforts and the first one to lose their Gem loses... would be cool to do some sort of interesting spin-off of this. 2. Pvp - Ability to have 4v4 on the same map. Have one team with their gem on top left corner of the screen and one team with their gem on bottom right corner of the screen. Creeps come out of the center of the map and head towards the top left and bottom right at the same rate, and both teams need to defend on the one hand, but also can attack the other team heroes and their towers on the other hand to make them lose faster.. THAT would be SICK and give us hardcore PVP junkies a serious fix. BOOYA.
Was just checking my stats and noticed that the Hero stat panel shows up upside down, would it be possible to flip it? Not sure if this has been mentioned before.
I suggest adding an invisible wall to the lava, it just creates frustration if you fall in and doesn't do anything.
Supposedly it also hurts enemies? I think I read some of the tips that show up while loading that said something about using the terrain (such as lava) to your advantage.
I don't fall into the lava very often. When I do, it is because the camera suddenly went wonky on me, or I fat fingered the jump or something like that. If they can correct camera and clean up the gui, then I prefer they leave lava in as if you fall in at that point, it's your own fault
It would be awesome but I don't know if the game could support 8 players all using towers and skills plus enemies, maybe just ordinary PVP where each team has a crystal and has to protect it from the other team which attacks with there heroes and such.
Ugh... I don't know if this has been mentioned already, but just like we can *lock* items in the item box, we need to be able to lock items we are wearing... In the chaos of battle, I somehow equipped some Polished Boots of Garbage and dropped my Godly Boots of Awesomeness I didn't notice until after the Eternia crystal was destroyed and I was back in the tavern. It really sucked. Either lock inventory items, or if you pick up an item to equip on the ground make sure the item that WAS equipped goes to the item box, not dropped :\
Hi guys: Here are my requests: 1. Free camera movement during building towers. I have had to readjust my character so many times because the camera won't move while I'm trying to build a tower and I'm out of reach. It's like an invisible wall! 2. Let us move the camera when we are dead. I hate staring in one direction for 10 seconds and can't prepare for the action. 3. Transparency slider for GUI. 4. A huge one! Let us be able to change the names of our characters at any point. I really want to name my players but its too late I would hate to have to restart just to name my characters. 5. Scrolling item menu but I think that's been addressed. Thanks for the time, I have defended your game and love it. I hate the review you received and I recommend it to everyone.
Oh yeah! One last thing, what about a good old fashioned illustrated game manual? Post it on your website. I've figured out most of the game but a couple icons still confuse me in the stats menu.
Auto Camera option My vote is for the an auto camera follow option where the camera will rotate when you move left or right and would center on forward or reverse. At least the option would allow those of us who like it that way to turn it on and those who don't to leave it off. Also that camera angle is very awkward and makes me feel a bit claustrophobic even when zoomed out. Could we angle it down to more of a third person over the shoulder view? Or perhaps a more isometric view? Options options options please!
That's a great idea. I'll talk to some of our guys and see if we can get something like this. We're working on a tutorial video to put online, hopefully that'll help!
A great feature would along with swipe to spin/look the camera would be the option to also be able to rotate the camera up, because when zoomed it it can get really annoying only being able to look like 8-10 feet in front of you.
I think 4v4 might be a little stretch, even 2v2 would suffice though. Pvp of any sort would offer a completely new aspect of gameplay, and a fresh feeling from the "ordinary" co-op modes. I know I go into games like WoW and Diablo with PvP in mind, and build my character accordingly. There's generally two types of people as far as online play goes, PvM (player vs monster) and PvP. And every single successful online video game has acknowledged adapted to both styles of play, ranging from Diablo, to WoW, to CoD, DotA, Starcraft, Ragnarok, Warhammer, etc etc etc. In fact, it's safe to say the BESTSELLING online games are always player vs player. The recently released Dungeon Hunter 2, a game with 4-player co-op online (sound familiar?), is just sitting on my device waiting to be deleted, since there's really nothing left to do after hitting level 100. I don't want this game to end up that way. Plus, losing out on 50% of sales for about 10-20% extra work doesn't make too much sense from a business perspective. Anyway, I actually bought the game, despite not being able to play it (4.1 JB here, but I actually buy my apps). It feels like you guys are genuinely trying to take iOS gaming to the next level. The sheer amount of content sounds amazing, and with promises of more. And with cross-platform, it sounds like this may be a heavily update app (how I personally judge quality, is the amount of time developers put into it AFTER taking our money ). The key to a long lasting multiplayer experience is to keep things balance (drop rates, damages, classes, player vs monsters, etc), and it's only possible with updates! Keep it up! Happy holidays!
Integration What about the possibility of integrating characters across phone and console? I have this game on iphone and 100% will be buying on PSN but it wud b nice to upload my phone character to my PSN account.
I saw this in the main thread, but oh my gosh do I agree with it: Get rid of the pick up button. Just have one button to send loot to the forge. I can't tell you how many times I can't get the damn forge button to work (it thinks I'm pressing on the directional pad, even though it's about a half inch away) and I am afraid I am going to drop one of my good items if I hit the hand button and then walk away. Get rid of the hand button!!!
