The monks ranged abilities are far more useful then the monks melee abilities in my opinion. ... and it is pretty difficult to make the monks weapons effective in both categories. I have a weapon for melee only, but its ranged damage sucks... and one for ranged attacks only. ... So far I've found the ranged damage attack is far more useful.

What they should have done was make the monks damage stats affect its ranged damage and maybe allow its elemental stats to affect it as well.

I personally do not like how the heal aura also heals enemies. If it doesn't, this would definitely make the monk a good character in arena. Set up a heal circle and stand right in it as you blast at the enemy.

What's the most efficient way to level up? I have a 16 Mage and I feel like that's nothing compared to a level 60 :x

Wait so the monks healing circle also heals enemies? No offence Trendy Entertainment but that's kinda stupid.

Get a huntress to around level 14 or higher, focusing on tower HP and tower damage. Unlock Ogre Crush, then select the highest difficulty you can play on. For the actual game, place Etheral Spike Traps, along with a gas trap right on top of it in strategic places. Dunno about you, but I was able to use about 5 of the spike/gas trap combos to win on hard. Place the traps, but before starting the round, switch to your mage so he gets the exp. Repair when the uses on the traps get low. I placed spike/gas traps right before the plank-bridges on both the northern east and west wings, then 2 more on the stairs in the southern east and west wings. Then the last one right at the north entrance. On the map, it should look like a stick man with only his head, hands, and legs showing.

Healing actually requires strategic placement and skill? That's great news.

Strategic placement yes, skill... probably not so much.

I always have the healing tower placed in the back where enemies can't reach and I can retreat to for more health.

However... even though the tower does heal, you can still strategically use the healing aura as an ultimate defense measure for the monk.

Stand in between and kill everything with your long range attack. Stack your auras inside the healing aura and those who try to get in close will still be at a disadvantage.

Amen. Apple usually isn't as slow with updates as they are with fresh releases.

The update won't be out for a bit according to their website's forums per one of the admins/developers? says "we are submitting the update to apple this weekend" which is this weekend 1/8/11-1/9/11 so expect a 3 day-2 week approval process with a 75% (my opinion) expectation of 3 days or less. So in lame terms if everything runs smooth update should be out by Thursday 1/13/11
2 days after Verizon announces the Iphone CDMA to their Carrier.

Has there been any official word on whether or not we can transfer the PC pre-order familiars to our iOS characters?
