My Huntress is at 417 fire -128 regular with 34 rounds per reload. Can't find a better weapon yet. But my traps are sick. My etheral trap does like 7k dmg per detonation in a little under two seconds. Ogres stand no chance!
I never had a problem with ogre crush when i did solo, then i went online. I keep gettin owned on wave 6
It could be because other people are using up mana for there own towers leaving you with less mana to use on your own strategy which you know works.
That's why I feel PvP will be so cool. You can still use strategy but you won't have to deal with no voice chat which kinda causes confusion during random online play.
A couple more questions. I wanna max a mage now. Wats the best startegy for beating ogre crush insane with them. And i maxed out my huntress but i'm bout to start all over with the huntress cuz i feel like i waisted exp on the worng skills. What skill did u guys spend ur points on?
I'd go for traps. Raise those stats including defense area and rate of fire. They are soo strong and will be most helpful luring enemies into them. Then go for a good set of raised armor and a powerful bow. Raise those traps though!

Move around the ogre and attack, don't stay in one place . And spam barricades in case for death . Thats about all you need . And a good weapon of course preferably with 4 projectiles or more and high elemental damage .
Just got this game for my ipad and am having a blast. I work alternating day/night shifts and was in process of switching back to nights, took an ambien and got in bed so I could sleep during day... 3 hours later, still playing this damn game when I'm usually out cold after about 30 mins. Great work devs. Love the blend of genres, gives it a fresh new experience.
I tried soloing Throne room on hard but I can't seem to deal with the wyverns (sp?) as they keep attacking my crystals before the defenses kill them. I got until the last wave with only 2 enemies left but those enemies happened to be wyverns and destroyed the crystals before the boss. I put 2 bouncer blockades around the crystal but it's still not very effective as they get 1 or 2 attacks in before dying : /

Use an apprentice and put at least 1 lightning and fireball tower at each crystal . Upgrade them fully and they should take care of the wyverns .
That's the question I asked like 50 pages ago and Llama answered me "Just go kill the Wyverns!" LOL. I will level up my apprentice so I can deal with that level, because despite the fact that I am a level 32 squire with all godly gear, the Wyverns still kick the crap out of my crystals on hard.
My lvl 60 apprentices staff is lvl 10 and has 4 projectiles that do 966 damage EACH when I charge them which takes like a second, but I don't understand why its only worth 976,000 mana
