As tweeted by me (@Javahawk) earlier: Anyone who can beat the overall damage of this #dungeondefenders weapon GETS IT! @TrendyEnt http://yfrog.com/h8mkxj
Yeah but trendy said they would improve framerate for the first update. But we just destroyed that game. No joke. Woot! I'm in the top 30%!!!
Kyle when that happens tell me in an invite and back out. It's a GC glitch. And Damnit mudkip and arcy!!! So close! Ogre again! I'm going to play some single player to get high in ranks I'll be on larer
Yeah, that evil ogre, and it only had 1000 health left too All that work and it didn't work out. At least I gained a couple levels
Many thanks Arcy, pleasure. There are many amazing games on the iOS that are a simple update from greatness, of which DD is one, and there's nothing to be gained from complaining and being negative. I'll be sure to pick up the PC version as soon as I see it here in the UK. Regards, Simon.
I'm not going to be able to play until about 6 pm US pacific time, so if you guys get the opportunity to play before then, go for it and beat that annoying ogre.
Aaah I see so I can level up my weapons and armor to make them more powerful? How would I go about that?
First, equip the weapon/armor to your character. Second, go to your character info screen and click the grey arrow at the top right of the screen to go to your character equipment screen. Third, select which equipment piece you want to level up. Last, toward the bottom of the specific equipment's screen, there is a button that says invest and there is a number toward the left of it saying how much mana is required to level it up. Then select which stats you want to level up for the equipment. Hope that is clear enough.
Is it recommended to invest on gear on early levels (<10)? Or just bank it all (wouldn't that mana get used to build things between waves?).
I wouldn't invest at that low of a level, once you start getting above ten and obtain godly and epic level armors, that's when I would start investing. It's all up to you though if you think it will help out.
Hint: If you're below 4.2 and you're Jailbroken you can still buy the app! SSH to /System/Library/CoreServices then go to SystemVersion.plist and change the version to 4.2.1 and after buying Dungeon Defenders change it back to what you're actually on =) Edit: It crashes
I'm a bit confused as of how it works. A couple of hours ago that I was playing I sold items I had carried (couldn't pick up anything else). My mana went over 1k, but now I'm not sure if the next time I play it would be spent in defense? Or it remains in the bank? I tried "dropping mana" in the guild (or whatever it's called), and a couple of crystals dropped to the floor.
There are only 2 ways to use mana in the bank -> You can drop mana from your bank in the Lobby Level (Tavern) OR you can use your banked mana to upgrade gear. Why would you want to drop banked mana in your Lobby? Simple, if you want to transfer mana to another player! No banked mana can ever be used to build defenses in a game.
