I feel bad now -- I tried this again and sat through the tutorial and really listened and it wasn't THAT bad .. but it still definitely needs work. I pretty much got the hang of most things but I got owned playing locally as Huntress. Tried online and my Level 2 Huntress joined a game of 3 people at 25+ .. (I think it may have been a game from here). They just lost minutes ago as I was waiting to spawn (why do I have to wait to the build phase?) but that was the only game I was able to find. Otherwise, a lot of dropped connections and crashes. Anybody want to play with a newb so I can get my level up? GC: ChrisNunz
The reason you have to wait until the next buid phase is because the number of enemies in each wave ramps with the number of players in the match, so it basically makes the game much easier if you join a game in progress. Feel free to add me to your gamecenter, my name is JAVAHAWK. Tomorrow morning I'll be having a free for all garage sale where I'm giving away some really awesome loot I've aquired -> Some considered "godly" rated... Check out our forums (forums.trendyent.com) and our twitter (@TrendyEnt) for more information about that. See you all in game!
Furthermore you can transfer banked mana in the Adventurer's Tavern -> Simply go to the Forge, Hero Info, Drop Mana, and your player will drop as much mana as you want. Be careful though, as other players will pick it up if you're not careful. This is also a great way to trade items in game for currency!
Hey so I think I am ready for an online game Anybody wanna play? I have all night! My gamecenter is Abisco79, just message here or on game center
Also note that your Mage's Apprentice Staff can have a property (depending on how good of a staff it is!) that will decrease your charge time. You can upgrade this in the forge and basically make your charge time instantaneousness if you so choose!
I played a game with u like 2 hrs ago . It's a Shame we got owned. When ur a chicken im assuming u get hit u die?
Wow, fun game java! My first real MP experience. I soon learned when hovering over an item it'll show a red box (meaning the item is worse than what I have currently), yellow (the same), or green (better, so I better pick that damn thing up!). Thanks Java for "calling" us to you so many times to give us some kick-ass items. I wasn't really sure what I was doing at first .. I just kept picking up everything. Question though -- if I pick up say a much better weapon in-game, will that translate into my next game? Is that my weapon now? Same with any gear and stuff?
Yep! No problemo. Glad you took the cue! Your weapons are persistent, a cool strategy is to "bank" items and equipment that you don't necessarily want to use at that point. Its the button to the left that pops up when you look at an item. You can then go into your item box later (accessable through whats called the "forge", theres one in every map and the lobby level too) and either equip those items or sell them for mana. You can then use banked mana from selling this loot to actually upgrade your gear and weapons! Even if you create multiple characters they all share the same item box, so if you pickup a sweet crossbow while youre an apprentice, you can later equip it with your Huntress character later! Have a great one
was hesitating for a couple of days when this game was just released. due to conflicting reports on the playability and such. But after seeing such an engaging thread discussion going on, I just had to jump in the bandwagon and see it play out with my own eyes! bought! Add Me on gamecenter as MeteorFlare ! Please be gentle!
Okay that sounds cool alright, so is there a "cap" on this hero charging stat? When will it become instantaneous? I would probably try it if I could reset my stats. It takes a LONG time to level up you know! But if it's like 20 points or something I would go for it right now
