It's time for more of the equivalent of mashing F5 on iTunes.

Why not have 360 integration with some kind of code?

Any Kiwi's out there to have played this baby yet? Would love some initial impressions. I'll be buying this on the stroke of midnight but I'm an inpatient sod and I'd love to know if it's genuinely representative of the trailer(s).

Does one need to have GC friends in order to play multiplayer, or can we just hop on and join games with randoms?

I see it requires 4.2, so is it safe to upgrade from 4.1?

I have had no problems yet.
only reports I found on the net was that you music lib MIGHT get lost and you need to resync. But I did not encounter that.

LOL!:) The sad thing is that has actually happened to me whilst playing Halo: Reach on more than one occasion!:)
I don't have any problem playing multiplayer, I really like it, but the reality of life is that it's not really made for me or people in my circumstances (It's why i never bothered to play WOW). All hail the single-player campaign, may it never die!:)

So those who are playing, what's your favorite class so far? Or what classes have you tried :)?

    4.2 requirement

I am pretty sure that the game requires 4.2 because of the game's reliance on Game Center. That is also likely why there is no support for iPod touch 2nd gen and iPhone 3G. It would be a lot of extra work for them to program the game with and without Game Center support, especially in a game that is so heavily based around multiplayer gameplay.

No, the Unreal Engine doesn't work on Open Gl ES 1.x, just on 2.0(3GS and up)

This isn't about the fw version, he's saying that it doesn't work on 2nd gen devices, because of the GC requirement. That isn't true(it may require 4.2, but not so that it doesn't work on the 3G), it doesn't work on older devices because they don't have Open GL ES 2 which is required for Unreal Engine.

iPad did not get Game Center until 4.2, so I assume thats the reasoning behind the 4.2 requirement.

wait, does it require 4.2? Does it not support 4.1? If it doesen't then I won't buy this for some time. :(

Or are you talking about him upgrading his device? :p
