The tutorial is not very clear and boring too, but when you get how works all the stuff, it's a very cool game. This game has the potential to be the most played in my iPhone if the multiplayer works good and the devs continue patching and updating the game.

At $3 it's a steal. Very recommended to people who likes Tower Deffense games and DOTA games.

i dont get it exactly...are you defending a certain object, are you defending youself or what? i can see defending yourself being super easy since you just stack towers around one area and stay there. same if your defending an object...havnt played the game and it seems interesting ill probably get it.

I'll add ya. Just beat the demon lord. Pardon my French but that was Fu**ing epic. And I got this bad ass glowing blue sword. I know the tutorial sucks but keep playing. It'll get there.

You defend this crystal. (in later stages there is more then one )

Also there become more entrances then players so you won't be camping in one area the whole stage. Also there is a "limit" to defence "units" you can set up. So you cant just stack and coast your way to the boss.

Its a really good game once you actually get used to it. The people complaining here are mostly casual type players. I'm not saying if ur a casual don't get this, but this game isn't doodle jump either :p

Nope. It's because people are slow to update firmware. Even non-jailbreakers don't often update because of new bugs fresh firmware builds tend to bring. I remember regretting big time going from 3.x to 4.0 when it launched because of all the bugs. They forced the requirement far too soon. Should have been 4.2 requirement for iPad (has to for GameCenter) and 4.1 for iPhone/iTouch. Sorry but these guys shot themselves in the foot for a strong opening.

Hopefully they get a lot of the in-game complaints fixed before the general public gets around to updating and have a better first impression.

I'm dying to play this on PC and personally baffled we have to wait till Q1 of next year to play it.

^ Last I checked over 80% of all iOS users have updated to 4.2 anyway. I highly doubt that's the case. Also doesn't Infinity Blade require 4.2 as well?

    Absolutely awesome game.

The only thing that is seriously dorked at the moment as far as I can tell is the multiplayer connecting - and that's probably Game Center acting up.

Being able to change camera angle would be nice, but it's not that big a thing...

Overall, tons of fun to be had.

IB does not require 4.2... where did you get the 80% from?

I am on 4.1 on my non-JB iPhone 4. Why? Because 4.2 isn't offering anything interesting for me. And no application that I have needs it... now I am considering to update but I am a bit reluctant to do it just for this game. It is more of an inconvenience, though.

I bought this last night but didn't have 4.2 installed - so I just started the dl on my iPad instead. Didn't get a chance to play though as I fell asleep with Aralon on my phone sitting upright on the couch.... huuzah!!!

Can those of you that made it through the tutorial possibly write up a general "n00b tutorial" so the rest of us don't get turned off right away?

I'm certainly going to put the few hours into it to get past the initial learning curve, any tips though?

    yeah I will.

    1. Mana is basically your money. These are the glowing blue and green things. When your mana meter, the blue bar, is full you cannot pick them up. To pick them up simply walk over them.

    2. One of the biggest things I see level 1s doing is building towers right next to the spawn. This is a terrible idea as you focus on those not the crystal. Lately I've been building barriers around my crystal then focusing on towers and turrets and building them near the crystal.

    3. The camera is controlled by two arrows on the side. Some find this annoying but trust me you'll get used to it.

That's my noob guide evrything else is in the tutorial :)

Also does anyone have a pet yet?

Since I don't want to have to sift through 41 pages, does this work on 2nd gen?

Accept my invite or send me another one. For some reason whenever I get an invite on my home screen I can't join. So send me a new one or accept mine

Got a Couple of questions for a dev or smart player. How do you upgrade equipment?? When do you get pets? Are all the weapons in the console and PC trailer available in first wave? Can you change your heroes color like a yellow squire?

In the hero menu when at the forge, go to the inventory screen and tap on the item you want to upgrade. Then tap (and hold if you want) "invest" at the bottom — that'll upgrade the item.

What I'd like to know is how do I forge an item?
