I participated in the "Fallen Heroes" program and never recieved an email. The characters name I entered was "Janessa" but since the program was announced I have leveled up another Huntress with the same name. All level 15 gear and level 61 right now. I still would like to recieve that guardian...but I am unsure weather or not my email was recieved.
No one got an email. The new guardian's assests are in the 5.0 update, the devs had to wait for it to be approved before they could send out emails to set up a game where they can gift it to you.
maybe it's possible to update game with some additional settings, to turn off shadows and dynamic lightning, for example?
Finally.. the app works and I can see my old characters with the v5! Yay! Unfortunately all my epic items require level 50
I bought this game when it first came out and had only played one game in that time. Every single time i tried to play it crashed on my iPad... And I always kind of felt like it was a waste of money because of that. Even the ame i did play was laggy and hectic Today i played the newest version and must say I am GREATLY pleased! The update runs everything a lot more smoother and is just much more playable. I see my self playing this a lot in thr future! It took u guys a while, but i'm happy with the final product!!! (cant wait for 360 version btw!!!)
I have a question, I just beat the second level in story mode, and when i proceeded to next level, it told me wave 3/7. why did i skip the first two
I like how the developer is shying away from remarks other people are talking about. The optimizations? I don't notice any - Whether it be max graphics (Which is unplayable, I don't consider running at 10fps playable sorry) or any other lower resolution textures etc. The game plays the same as it has been since v4. The video they show of the game running that fluid is bogus if everyone I know who owns it all run the game the same as I do, which is laggy with even a decent amount of things on screen. Hell, even when you're alone and just trying to warp into a level, the menu's chug at max graphical settings. Actually I think its safe to say the last 3 toggles (From left to right) all chug on menu's a bit still.
We're not shying away from any remarks, we're incredibly busy at GDC and I was trying to reply to people with immediate issues as fast as possible. The optimizations in version 5.0 are all memory based. For devices with lower memory, such as the iPad, the game now runs MUCH better. In fact, many people who previously had startup issues can now actually play the game . We completely rewrote how the game loads assets (weapons/etc.) into memory so it would have a much smaller (and more dynamic) footprint. That said, the game is not intended to be played at max for all devices. Those settings merely exist for users to see how the game would look at the device's native resolution. It also means, for example, when the iPad 2 comes out, users can already upscale the application without us having to create a specific iPad 2 versions. We've actually never seen the menus "chug" on any difficulty level, so I'm not entirely sure what you're referring to there. Also, what device are you running it on?
this game is lagging on mi iphone 4... -_-" restarted, used SYSTEM app to recover RAM, but still lag.. I even put the resolution scrolldown.. why version 1.0 runs really well and this version don't? still, this is a great game some bugs: between the intro trailer and the blue circle loading thing, there is a bluescreen error on the bottom of the screen.. only appears for 0.3 secs but always happened on me
i have deleted several apps in order to free up some space on iphone. i though maybe that's what caused issues with dundef. but even then the game is still almost unplayable. about what kind of optimization one can talk, if even in the tavern the game is not smooth on the lowest settings.

Hey Trendy guys - would you ever consider allowing bots in the SP campaign? Like if I have my custom Huntress character, shouldn't I be able to bring in A.I. bots from the other 3 classes to play with me? I don't have internet connection a lot where I play mostly so bots would be HUGE.
Not trying to nay say or anything, (because the game is still very playable and I have enjoyed it) but the game still hiccups for me with the graphics all the way down, the device restarted, and nothing else running. Even in single player. It still gets slowed up on low during the start menu. I have tried reinstalls and resetting the iphone to factory. Nothing. I am using an Iphone 4, latest update and it is not jailbroken.
I'm running this on both the iPhone 4/iPad. Latest updates on both. So the highest graphical settings is not intended to be played at all on current devices? Why did the trailers have it run so smooth then for handhelds (With max graphics I'd assume)? Unless it was on the androids.
