In the update it says vast performance upgrade, can anyone comment on that? (downloading the update now but I don't want to get my hopes up). EDIT: Thanks for the weapons Trendy, got a pretty good staff (at least compared to the one I was using).
Does anyone know if you have to be at a high level in order to get the new weapons? or are they the same as the first set trendy gifted us? I'm low level right now because I started over and have the Stocky Flaming Blacksmith's Forger but I don't see anything at the heart shaped box
The major performance increase does not look like or feel like it at all. At max graphics settings the game still crawls at probably 10 fps or less at times. Same thing. So what exactly is improved? Why bother with that graphic setting if its unplayable more than 70% of the time?
no major performance boost too, i dont know why it's so, but even on lowest graphic settings the game is just slideshow if there are a lot of towers and monsters on the map. even backgrounds in the main menu are laggy. and controls are messed, i can play only with maximum zoom and chase camera, it's the only way for camera to work ok. another problem is aiming, if i understand correctly - you can not aim if you play mage and there is auto aim?
I noticed that they lowered the requirements for some of the rare pets. You can get a fairy or genie from completing TTR hard, with a small chance for an animus. Though, the only one I saw so far cost 11 million mana, so you're going to need to be pretty rich to purchase one.
Yeah and those whose account was deleted and lost all character data? Wheres my high hero with my Infinity Blade (yeah, i renamed it like that since both uses Epic engines)? Could you give me a lvl 57 mage called Bartholomeus with a level 10 cane that dealed 1500 dps with three rows of ramifications and well balanced? i dont even care about the other characters i lost.....
There's only 1 thing I want patched in next - the ability to play the SP with bots. It's very boring to play SP alone, as throughout the day I can't play online since I have a poor connection where I work.
I'm sorry if I haven't read through the 3,000 comments in this forum, but is this game playable at all??? I really really want to play it, and every update I hope its better...but it's not. I get killed due to lag before i can even finish the first stage (5th wave)
cant load game I just bought this today and it worked the first few times. Now its not loading anymore. I have restarted my ipad already. Any suggestions on what I can do?
You think there are 3,000 comments about an unplayable game? It works great on iphone 4 and ipad, although there are some multiplayer issues on ipad that might be improved with the update.
Great how? I'm on an iphone 4...the game runs okay as im working through the first few waves, but by wave 5 the amount of enemies slows things down tremendously...kinda hard to attack and block effectively. And I have random slow-downs as well throughout it all for no apparent reason (running upstairs in the tavern turned my framerate into a slide show)
yep, i have tried different settings, restarted iphone. but on later waves it's like slideshow even on lowest graphics settings.

This is the first time Ive actually wanted a refund. It still crashes on the splash screen every time, even when I disable movies from the little popup menu. Restarted, reinstalled, all that stuff, no luck. iPad 64GB 4.2.1 I couldn't get into the game before because of the tutorial, but at least it worked. After all these fixes I was willing to try it again. I haven't been following the thread for a long time, but do they even have an iPad to test it on?
We actually have multiple iPads and surprisingly have never gotten the crashes other users are getting. Many users are saying the new patch fixes the current iPad crash (it greatly reduces its memory footprint). Please email [email protected] so we can troubleshoot this issue with you!
I am jailbroken so that might be the problem. I'm not sure there's much else I can do to troubleshoot at this point. I've deleted and reinstalled, installed from iTunes, restarted, tried airplane mode, nothing has helped so far. The gameplay is fun, so I'll keep trying with more updates though.
It runs very well on my iPad 32 GB. I've been playing the game since 1.0 and I've never had any major issues other than needing to clear my running apps to free up memory.
