bought the game two months ago, used to start it nearly every two days, reinstalled it, updated it and never saw anything else then the startupscreen, it constantly crashes. pooooor support. (iPod Touch 4g 64BG)
how do u forge weaponsbecause i see tons of people with weapons called some crazy weird names and i wanna get in on this haha
Is this game really worth it? All I see is complaining about the crashing and how hard it is to play.
if your lucky you will not get many crashes. If you arent lucky than your screwed and you wasted money. It like 40 - 60. And 60 percent is crashes
IMO it is totally worth it, i love this game so much.. I've spent so many hours on it> And yea it does have a few bugs it has very fun gameply.. Each class offers a different type of strategy. I play as the Apprentice class and i used all my skill points on my towers so all i do is set up towers to do all the killing for me.. but it want to spec for pvp u can do that and just go around hack n' slash.. some people like to just go around killing things them self so they spec there hero rather than there towers...There are pets, armors, weapons, many different maps, and so many challenges that force u to go online to build a group to complete because of there difficulty..thats what makes it so fun haha. This game is completely worth buying.
I almost never crash, and when I do its almost always the standard memory issue solved by rebooting once in a while. That said, multiplayer that I do not host is very unstable. I dont understand it, as I'm based on Eastern US, not Siberia. I found levelling an alt close to unbearable due to the grinding. Trying to get the very best gear, complete the hardest missions also requires grinding. Its like World of Warcraft, but with no quests and no chatting with people (unless you use and count IRC). But that is only to get the real apex stuff, for hours and hours leveling your first character its just pure fun, and doesnt feel at all like grinding. Camera does blow, and there is one map I HATED because with the aweful camera it was just so confusing. But there are a lot of maps, and most are fine -- very impressive looking actually! Bottom line, although its well short of Diablo/WoW in many gameplay respects, its hugely fun for a while due to the unique mix of rpg, action and tower defense. And its on the ios, which those titles are not. For the price, how can you beat it? As you can see, I have a bit of a love/hate relationship with the title. But on balance, my feelings are favorable. There is, simply put, nothing like this on the ios, its a must try if you like Diablo/WoW & Tower Defense.
sorry if it was already discussed, but it's normal when game is very laggy on iphone 4? sometimes it's just impossible to play.
Only in multiplayer with a lot of enemies on the screen. I do better in multiplayer if I host the game. You can also zoom out and turn off chase camera, and maybe other things I dont know about.
From the DD forums, regarding the 5.0 update: No way I'm going to be one of the guinea pigs this time. I'll wait for others to test the waters first.
i forget who asked me but yes you can play dungeon defenders on a rooted nook color, i do and works great. mine is overclocked at 1ghz tho so dont know about 800ghz. anyway i cant wait for the 5.0 release on ios, i love it on android but i play more on my ipad and ipod touch.
