I'm curious about this as well. If I am not misreading the stats, these weapons are similar to some of the earliest looted weapons, which sell back at 50-100 mana, and which are only useable until our heroes come across weapons with level 7+ requirements.
the stuff in the store is based on what mission or challenge you just did + the difficulty. we need harder difficultys, just saying ;D
i truly think they need to make it based off your level for weapons and armors, and pets be based off of what mission + difficulty, and they need to have a scroll so you can see more then 3
The weapon. There's an attribute on some weapons that is the number of Projectiles. The image looks like a fan of blue rays/bolts. Even a weapon with a low or negative number on this trait could be forged to have multiple projectiles, so long as it has that trait to begin with. If it doesn't, then well I'd start keeping an eye out for a new weapon (unless you have some major awesome single projectile one).
Alright thanks. As you might have guessed, I'm really new to this game. Since the weapons you can purchase are no good, how do you get better weapons? Just wait for a good one to drop? Because I haven't had anything good drop for a long time.
When you go to inspect the hero when your in the tavern talking to the inkeeper and you click the blue arrow up top it shows your gear. Click on an item, say your sword, then click on the invest button. You are paying mana to level up your gear. This can tide you over till you get something better to drop. Good idea to level your weapon up to say level 3, investing only in dps, shots per second or extra projectiles. Also, look for a cheap pet, the extra dps can help a great deal at low levels, and eventually 30k can be farmed in 10-15 minutes. Best class to farm mana is apprentice, if you can get to say level 20 or so, and invest very heavily in tower stats, you can earn big bucks on survival mode in the Throne Room on "hard". Better gear doesnt really drop so much as you progress if you stay on easy level. Exception is killing the boss in the Alchemy Lab and Throne Room missions. If you can do the first mission on "hard", you might get an upgrade or two. "Insane" is quite doable with a mid-level tower specced apprentice.
Why don't you test it out? but I believe it heals you to, don't know about the hero boost but I would assume it works on you to.
Ok I might test it out it's just that I've been at work and haven't had the time to play yet. I been playing with a level 20 apprentice online and noticed that I never see monks, so I thought maybe I should make one. But, now that I think about it, it might be because the monk is no good, since his towers are a bit odd. I'll just have to try. I just haven't had the time, that's why all the questions, sorry.
I agree with the cheap pet thing. I actually got my tiger thing for only between 300-500 mana. I craped my pants when i saw the price
monk boosts only affect character units or if hero boost, characters. Only healing aura heals everyone (freakin' useful when playing insane)
Any updates on the console versions of this game? I love it on my phone, but can't wait to play with my console friends!!!
Has there been an official answer on whether or not the PC pre-order pets are transferable to the iOS version of the game? And if so, can one get multiple pre-order pets? I've asked before in this thread and I've seen the question come up on several occasions on the DD forums, but I don't think I've ever seen an answer from a Trendy rep. It could be that I just completely missed it, though.
why does my game crash constantly on an itouch 4th gen every single time i play the throne room hard mode, around wave 11 on survival mode.. it pisses me off when i have to restart survival mode and get my towers upgraded all over again.. There should be an auto save for offline games after the end of each wave, so if it crashes u can just load back where u left off..
