It improves the defense overall. When you are standing near any defense, you will see a little bar graph button near your virtual d-pad. Click this "stat" button and information will pop-up about your defense. Use this to check a defense, upgrade it and see how these stats change.

this game is good, but since the developer added a few Very Hard level to beat to obtain a great equipment, i stopped to play..
just didn't have enough time to farm those goods.. :(

Yet another noob question (I dont feel too guilty, since I have answered a ton of them on other games). Can the archer force a reload before all ammunition is gone?

Yes, it's her secondary skill button(or button to the left of the attack button).

I'm sorry but I feel ripped off with this game, I liked the concept, graphics and even the controls, but I cant play a single game online due to 10 second delay lag and horrid performance issues. The game has just been a tease: I have leveled my main character to 12, but I don't see any point in playing if I cant enjoy the game online. Perhaps it is because I am using a 3gs, but maybe the app store should have warned me, either way I'm totally let down

I *was* loving this game, but the 5th (or is it the 6th...the first one with 2 crystals) map is a freaking maze, there is no compass and the minimap covers the whole screen. Please tell me that subsequent maps are better, or that all I have to do is adjust my camera or something (pretty sure you cant...)

The Stables map is a nightmare. The later maps are better for sure.

While I am on an iPhone 4, the two pals I play mostly with are both on 3GS, and they've been able to play online just fine, albeit on the lower graphical settings.

Can't even play game since the last two updates. Game crashes at splash screen. Tried disabling movies, using gamespy, rebooting, and deleting the app and reinstalling. Nothing works.

    Anyone else have this issue?

    On iPad 4.2.1

This game is awesome but it is lagging too much. I also still hate how the camera rotates on it's own especially when it's lagging. Shit gets so out of control. We have complained for this before but somehow the game is laggier and it's hurting. I will probably just pray it gets released soon on my ps3 my interest is starting to shrink really fast. It's such a great game I might wait to play it someday on a new iPhone. Maybe for second wave.

You can turn off the "chase cam" in options and I hope it helps bring down the lag some more for you.

I hardly get any lag since the update(the few times it has happened it was pretty bad though) I expect it to happen here and there like any other online game on the iDevice but I really can't complain for the most part. Also zooming out completely has helped the lag a bit.

zooming out probably has more lag, but because it's consistently on a low framerate it seems smoother. Also I suspect the camera not swinging around so much when zoomed out all the way helps keep the game in orientation.

Am I correct in thinking your game is only saved when you go back to the tavern, not when the game is suspended during waves, or even between waves? If so, that's something I'd really like to see changed, at least in the mobile versions. There's been a lot of time I thought it would be fun to have a quick game of Dungeon Defenders, but haven't had time to complete a full level so didn't bother with it.

Your right and I COMPLETELY agree with you as far as being able to save a local/single player game. I tend to play local more often than multiplayer with all 4 classes. I'd be happy if I were able to at least save during the build phases.

Zooming out has a higher frame rate as the game has to render less of the environment.

Nope, 4.3 preserves all character data :).
