There is an online only stage that is more of a free for all in that there are monsters but players can kill each other.
Any word on 4.3? I'm kinda forgetting what I used to love about the game...and that's playing it! Still not upgraded loaded with my characters waiting for goodness! Approve it and send it out apple!
Bah lost 3 60s and a 40ish. Forgot that i had the update on my Mac and synced my iPad. I hope you guys at Trendy consider doing something to compensate users for their loss. On a more positive note: wow. Lots of new stuff, and some of the levels look soo much better now. Hardly an lag either. Good stuff! Have you guys considered a swipe to look function? Anyways, thanks for a great game, and sorry for all your problems. You never should have hired those 30 cheap chinese circus monkeys to do the betatesting.
dont hold your breath. and i would be amazed if the new patch doesnt mess something else up as per all the rest of the updates since release...
It doesn't appear to work for me except to repair defenses. Summoning a tower or upgrading a defense with it, and the mana goes 'poof' without any effect. I thought I was getting hit at first, but everytime I try it again later (forgetting it's not working for me and I am use to using it out of habit) I end up losing a bunch of mana to no effect. Haven't been able to use it right yet in 4.2.
This has happen to me as well. Also I noticed that when I host a game on Gamespy, on the last wave of every level my Internet disconnects. I'm on an iPad so I thought it was my connection. I decide to try and host a game on GameCenter to see what would happen. To my surprise it worked! I have tried several levels now and each have been completed without a single problem. Has anyone else come across these problems?
Not the same bug but I have noticed I no longer see the push to talk button when I have my wifi on and I'm in the tavern using gamespy. I have not had the chance to check on gamecenter yet. I have a fresh install of 4.2 installed due to losing my character. Anyone else notice it?
Wowser! At last DD-FW is vastly improved! The graphics appear better and framerate issues vastly improved too. I too lost my saved character data (took many hours to get where I was, now all up in smoke) with the latest 4.0 Update, surely there must be some kind of fix? Any plans Trendy Ent?? Very frustrating, but I guess the various in-game improvements balance it out and I shouldn't be too annoyed!!! Congratulations on the improved game. DD rules!
Thanks guys! Please tell all your friends... we do believe that a $0.99 Dungeon Defenders is one of the best deals on the App Store to date It is a full-fledged PC/Console game crammed onto your phone... sometimes less than perfectly elegantly, but never the less the depth and scope of gameplay you get to experience on the go is pretty huge... even more so with the new additions in 4.2 like shopping + PvP As for the deleted heroes, that was a one-time loss due to hack protection we added in that was overzealous with pre-4.2 saves. It won't happen ever again and we're truly sorry for it. We're looking into a way to provide unique familiar pets to everyone who bought the game prior to 4.2, and we think we have something figured out for that which we can work into the 4.4 update (4.3 is already submitted). Cheers and see you in online play! -Jer
That would be nice especially since the newest update also did away with the nice weapons you had given us before.
The key thing has been finding a way to uniquely ID who purchased the game prior to 4.2. We think this can be done by receipt ID's which Apple e-mails you, that we can cross-reference on iTunes Connect. We're going to test this out over the next couple days and if it works, we'll do a custom pet and get it into the next Apple update (and then our interns will have the wonderfully 'fun' task of running the delivery of these pets to everyone who submits such a receipt). We'll know in the next day or so if this will work out, just gotta test the process on some users first. Please e-mail [email protected] if you might be up for beta-testing this. Oh and by the way... pls spread the word:
Jeremy, I tried mailing Philip to lend a, er, petting hand in the testing of the pre-4.2-purchase pet delivery system, but I was told that delivery to the recipient failed permanently. Might there be a typo in the e-mail adress you posted above?
