All of my heros have about 400k DPS except for my Monk, who has about 300. Should I update now? Is the leveling up fast enough? I really want the new map, tavernkeep, and new pets! How do you get familiars in 4.0 without buying them? My heros are level 15 Apprentice, level 8 monk, level 13 squire, level 9 huntress. (I had higher, but I had to restore and wasn't backed up, so I lost my data, but it's not Trendy's fault)
There's a respec option (100 000 mana) in the tavern keep. Just something I just realized. Along with XP bonus and a Rename hero option. XP Bonus-> literally buy a EXP, usable once every level.
Anyone figured out the trick to getting different weapons and pets to show up on the innkeepers shop list? I've tried and can't figure it out.
So what, if anything, do those of us get since our toons were wiped? I hope something.... And I hope for those who still didn't update that the fix actually works. Glad you guys supposedly patched it again and I do mean supposedly....here is hoping.
Dow anyone know if you can change your heroes name after creating him? If not, please add this in an update! Btw, loving the update, even if it only starts like once every five times I try to launch the game.
Is it crashing? Have you tried restarting your device/closing other applications? And yes, you can if you go to the shop in the tavern!
I upgraded but did not start the game yet.. If I wait till this update, can I still keep my save game or is it gone already?
How do I cange the NAME, not the HERO? Edit: Nvm, found it, but why does that have to cost something?
As I said, you can change the name in the new shop in the tavern. You can also purchase an XP boost and respec your character.
wow... yet another buged update from Trendy. I really hope you guys get your quality control to work very soon. Otherwise this game, that has tons of potential, will just be another failure. Sad thing so far
It may not launch every time, you just have to keep on trying (and maybe reboot before launching), but when it does it's great. I wish more people would play online via game center, Game Spy seems alot laggyer to me and can make you accidentally fall into lava or such stuff.
I upgraded to V4.0. and is the new one already submitted? and still wondering about the save. did V4.0 wipe out my save. or when i start the game
Possibly. Everyone, some forum goers are having luck restoring a previous backup with their save file this way. I haven't confirmed this myself, so just note I'm reposting the information here: "So the actual game file in iOS/iTunes is called an DunDef.ipa and it needs to be replaced with the last working version (or else when you restore, it will just put the same bugged 4.2 game back on your iOS device). When you updated, iTunes downloads the ipa (4.2 in this case) and moves any previous version to the trash can. Then when you sync your device, iTunes runs a backup then installs the new DunDef.ipa. What you need to do is delete the 4.2 ipa from iTunes, grab the old one (ver 1 or 2) from the trash and put it back into iTunes. Delete the app (the offending 4.2 version) from your DEVICE. If iTunes asks you about transferring purchases or anything, click "no" or else it will copy the 4.2 version back over the restored v 1 or 2 ipa. Then right click your device in iTunes, select restore from backup, and choose the most recent known working version. It should not take more than 5-10 minutes and will retain all your other stuff like photos, videos, music, etc... so you won't have to copy that stuff back again. Once the restore is complete, run the game and you should be back to playing. Just remember not to download the dreaded 4.2 update again! Hope that is helpful/clear."
