OMG WTF ?!?!? version 4.2 crasheeeed OMFG To know for such a long time to fix the game crashes? Until now I believed you ake this is already too much. I delete the game and never installed! For this game, I so enjoyed, I wanted to buy it and the pc But such errors will never do! Yuk yuk yuk this is crap this game. For me the most powerful iDevice lag and not to run!
No previous saves seem to be working right now. I had my old save backed up with AppBackup (a cydia app for those that don't know) and I tried reloading it into the new update and the game said the file was corrupt. The devs are looking into it but say not to upload yet. If you've already uploaded you should be able to take the old version out of your trash and reinstall it so you can play until they get to the bottom of it
Did you reboot after installing the update? I'm on a 3gs with the latest jailbroken firmware. I couldn't play for more than 10 minutes before but with this update I've been playing for hours with no lag at all (video upscaling is maxed out)
Well, under the hood somewhere there is. And they did somewhat acknowledge that but what were minor issues honestly back then (camera,online) held them back. A lot of us argued that the depth and scope was more important... but at this point it still isn't a recommendable game, and even tho I WANT this game to be good I have to wonder now greatly what is going to happen EVERY update. And because of that the good parts of the game don't really matter. Not until its stable and you can have faith that updates wont break the game, kill online, or delete all of your data. Myself, I still have the android version. So I will play that only now. At least I have that option though, a lot of people wont. Things like this just can't happen release after release.
I can't even install update in the AppStore I did purchase this game when it was 59p. I click update, then install... But nothing happens
You may not have enough free memory. You need about 1gb free if you install directly on your device, but only 650 for the actual game if you go through itunes

Jailbroken iPhone 3Gs, crashed. Free Memory's 100MB, is it because it's too low? If it is, how can jailbroken players even play this game, since most of them hover around 100?!
I'm jailbroken and playing without issue (I'm also on a 3gs) Do you have a lot of things running in the background? I've only had one issue of lag so far and it was from a text message (I use SMS GV extension to pull email notification into the Messages app) but once I dismissed it the game caught up quickly
Im jealous I probably wont see an android update now today to play my characters on my g tablet. I thought about checking the updated game out on the ipod via a new apprentice but I got a hangover and that tiny screen kills me...lol.
How much is your free memory? I have a bunch of Cydia tweaks installed, so it's not that high in memory. I usually play without anything running in the background. Still crashes, and has crashed since v2. (Haven't been able to play since V2)
I installed SBSettings and I'm slightly above 100mb (though sbs must use up some of that itself?) I usually have a few things in my multitask bar like Talkatone (for free GV calls), Twitter, Reeder, AppStore, and Messages
Weird then. Then why ain't you crashing yet I crash all the time... Ah well, shall try again next update. Sucks to be unable to play when you've paid for it though.
Sooo should I update and lose my characters? Is there a final word somewhere saying we must all start over?
I hate to be negative, but if you updated I am 90 percent certain that its gone forever. There was no backing up of save data before this (if I remember correctly). It was supposed to have code in this update to wipe saves of hackers/cheaters. Obviously it wiped practically everyone. If you have an old backup of your dundef data, make sure you hold onto that. One person says they were able to recover that way but no one else seems to have. If you haven't updated DONT. You will lose it all. I wouldn't even trust a backup. Just wait for official response from trendy. I sure hope this wasn't intentional tho, there was no clue the update was hitting iOS last night...but they never even suggested it was in review yet. I wont be updating Android if there are problems there. I am close to at least requesting a refund from apple. No way im starting over there, or trying to transfer my character to ipod. As for the android version I just want to see what happens before I decide whether to remove that version. I wont start completely over again on android either.
