I too lost my ios characters. Thank god I didn't see an android update and wipe that too... but I really don't have the patience to wait ANOTHER week...I wont even touch the iOS one again. good god this even went through apple... is there one person here who didn't lose their data? So someone explain to me wtf the point of apples supposed "quality check" was/is? And I have to agree this is really bad for Trendy...I wonder what issues are going to be in the full game...I don't want to think this way but if this causes even more people to quit, online will be a ghost town. And no one else is going to want to try it because of the horror stories.
Am I missing something? Anyone know if it is normal that in campaign mode on level two and above I start at wave two already? Also is their a story in the campaign mode or is it supposed to just skip area to area? Anyone with info let men know please I am new to the game and want make sure it's not a bug.
I lost my character too. Godly pristine, lvl 70 hunter with 8k dps. I was working my way to solo monsterfest.
A MOD SHOULD CHANGE THE TITLE TO WARN PEOPLE NOT TO DOWNLOAD, PLEASE. No point in anyone else losing data if it can be helped...
I too thought the wave start was odd. Apparently it is a design decision so you don't waste time on a wave too easy for you... bit odd I think but I've gotten used to it. I think the only other cutscene was after beating throne room. Story honestly seemed kinda light. BTW I wonder if Brad and Eli are laughing real hard at those of us who raised hell over the TA review... good lord they have to be at least somewhat enjoying this on some level...lol.
That's intentional. If you did not turn off cinematics/movies then there will be cut scenes after some levels explaining the story.
Doesn't change the fact they didn't recognize the dept of the game, which has gotten deeper with each update.
anyone having issues of the game logging you out of your gamecenter account and puts you in sandbox mode, forcing you to make sandbox gamecenter account? (4.1 JB, but the game is bought!!!!) Is this their measure to counter piracy? or just unintended bug? I didn't try but it will prevent people with this issue from playing multiplayer mode....

I was going to change my rating back to 5 stars.... This game has come a long way. Adjustable graphics for poor Internet connections, fluid movement while placing towers (as well as repaing them), expanded multiplayer connection through gamespy, Pets, etc. I have accepted the fact that my character is gone, what's more important to me is, "does the game acctually work now?" After playing for an hour I can safely say, "mostly". I started on multiplayer and after experiencing some lag spikes, I adjusted my graphics to the lowest setting and everything seemed to work. The plus side about the lag spikes was that before the update I would have just "Lost Host". My self and 4 other player managed to play the whole level through with out losing connection, even with the Orge. Although everyone swarmed on all the good drops -_- I felt satisfied for finally completing a level on multiplier ^^ When I switched to local game to check out the graphics on max capability, which are awesome by the way, the game crashed after 15 mins. To be fair that was after the 45 mins of multiplayer action. Well that's where I am right now. I'm about to try it again ;P

Yeah, I'm actually surprised that I'm not as mad as I should be... I guess I've been wanting to make a new character anyways. It does work far smoother now and I'm able to join games through gamespy. ... however gamespy is still pretty laggy ... Good thing is, I haven't been dced just yet .
So to clarify for someone who's never jailbroken on iOS 4.2, will the data be intact? I didn't make a gamespy account yet, but would that matter?
