Nobody knows, the last thing PMasher said was that Apple found some crashes and the update got delayed or something. Hopefully by the end of this week? It was supposed to be a bugfix patch so it shouldn't have taken this long versus the new-features patch (2.0).

I got 1.0 sitting on my desktop, and I don't really have issues with 2.0. But that might be because I haven't been playing DD for a bit...

I have a feeling that a lot of people have moved on. Online on android is just the same handful of players it seemed last week still, and I just quit. Waiting on the patch to make solo play fun again cuz im sick of going online and being kicked from games on join all the time unless its a level one character looking for any help. Seems like the only people who stuck with the game to that extent are elitist and only play with their known friends. Obviously too stupid to to set a private passworded match if they don't want random joins.

And with all the bad reviews plastered all over, I don't see people flocking back to this game even if it is fixed. Shame cuz its a great game in there...devs are just in over their head imo with all these releases and such a small team. Im hopingthough at least solo is made viable and fun again otherwise I guess I've seen all there is cept for.playing through first 2 difficulties as the monk. Just not interested tho with 2.0 and really not liking that they didn't implement an online patch system of some kind to avoid these delays. Nothing against ios users...im one too...but android patch should be released now. ios users wouldn't be affected anyhow and its not our fault apple's policies. Can't believe they would deny it cuz of ONE minor hard to reproduce crash, when their update fixed all the previous ones supposedly.

I bought this on day one and still haven't played it properly. Crashes, low performance, and bugs have made me stop playing and wait for fixes. I hope it gets fixed soon, if I don't manage to play it before the PC release I'll be very sad! :(

There is a new post on the main DD forums about new content and game modes...for version 4.0. I know trendy is trying to regenerate some excitement... but im not worried about new game modes and such until the base game is fixed, balanced, and released. I hope when Jeremy at trendy said 3.0 was "skipped" he just meant that particular content and not that the entire 3.0 patch is skipped...

Wish they would give everyone a heads up on the status. I stopped recommending this game to friends because of this mess. I would be happy to recommend if it gets fixed and balanced properly...but what happens when PvpP releases and game balance gets broken and fixed again...or if apple decides to pull or delay another needed patch?

Trendy- is there any possibility you can implement an online patch system similar to a lot of online games (iOS or otherwise)? This would solve a lot of problems. Just auto patch and check version for online mode. If you choose local play then no server check. Saves the trouble of having to clear bug fixes through apple. Pocket legends is an example of such a patch system although it lacks offline play.

Im sure that would require substantial work so I don't expect that for this game... but if there is a sequel definately consider cloud save and auto patching when joining online.

No thanks to FunkyFly's oh so helpful post, I went in search of the thread he's talking about. Check it out here: http://www.forums.trendyent.com/showthread.php?1427-A-mysterious-new-figure-emerges...

Sadly, it looks like the 3.0 patch may be abandoned entirely in favor of the 4.0 post:
I'm still on version 1.0 and am eagerly (but patiently) awaiting the next patch.

And yeah, that would be substantial work. We are considering all of it however. Right now our priority is to get the game fixed and back on the app store.

Yeah. Delaying the bugfix patch to push another one with new content wouldn't make a lot of sense, until then the game would remain unavailable since it was pulled, thus cutting any income that the App Store could generate to Trendy Entertainment.

A shopkeeper for mana spending sounds great. Can't wait to see what is available.

Eager for the patch, but there are so many great games out right now ( Battleheart! ) I can bide my time :)

i still have this game installed... and i found it barely playable. I want it to work SO bad ... the game could be one of the best on the app store , but the dev chew way too big sadly.

Please lets hope the game will play better SOON!

I hope the tavern keep sells an item that'll reset your skill points.

Hmm. 3.0 skipped for 4.0. That means an even longer wait I guess. Calling it bittersweet. :p

I hope so too. I'm getting a bit sick of all of these games with an archaic "no respec" design. This isn't the 90s anymore.

This tavernkeep could be a great idea or what finally gets me to stop playing DD:FW. If you're going to pull an IB and make us pay for an experience, I'll be pissed and I know you won't cause you guys are awesome and won't disappoint their fans. But if you make the tavernkeep upgradable over an online server, it would be a great way for the fans who would gladly pay for maps do so. Also I was talking to a forum member about this over xbox live the other day. We were saying that there are some people who will not pay for maps, but some some gladly will. And I know some of you are probably tired of me asking but I would pay $5 in a HEARTBEAT for a map or two and freaking character customization! Hell probably $10. I know you guys are busy with the console version but I do think you should help support the people who have stuck with this game through the ups and downs. I think you guys are a hell of a developer and you guys have made an incredible game in it's current form. But if you guys would take the fans suggestions and constantly keep DD:FW updated, you will hands down. Have the best app on the store.

If they started charging for maps or addons over here, I'd personally not buy anything iOS and just go straight to my PS3... For those that have multiple consoles or devices, it would be a huge investment having to buy things for every device.

Also, by the way you are putting it, it would end up being another IAP game... While I agree that some people might not mind paying $5-$10 for some upgrades, the majority probably won't (that's a lot of money).
