This game is getting too complex for an IOS game.. I just realized it and that's why everything went wrong with the new update. Fix one thing, two more problems appear... I think I'm gonna call this game quits... CYA ON PC VERSION
I completely disagree. I was probably posting 25 posts a day on the early pages of this thread when the game first came out. I took a month break when I hit 60 because of GC and crashes but now I'm loving this game again. So I think take a break and when 3.0 hits try again.
Now that 3.0 is coming. Alot of people have been talking to me about what they want in 4.0. And we all agree that if this game is going to really be close to the full experience, we need 3 new things. 1. Customization(we've all been asking forever and for some reason the dev won't respond) I think it's pretty obvious we all want the customization that the console version has for example weapon and hero colorization has been the most requested feature. 2. Content. This game has incredible replay value. But i will so gladly pay $5 for 3 or 4 new maps. I have said before I LOVE HALL OF COURT! it's a gorgeous map and is so fun. I want to feel that about a map again. 3. Some fixes.I am a faithful squire. I will never play as another class because I just love the squire to death and I love the slice n dice blockade. But when I use the slice and dice it lag spins instea of just shredding through enemies. This is aesthetically annoying but also affects gameplay. It tends to miss enemies and it's incredibly frustrating. I know the dev will prob not respond to this but I had to just say it. I am in no way angry at trendy. Theyve made an incredible game. But I am a worthy customer who knows that DD:FW has so much more potential.
For me, the strongest appeal of this game is that I can pick it up on my iPhone where I left off at my PC a few hours before, and the other way around. And a few ways sideways, should I happen to ever own an iPad or an Android device. The cross-plattform compatibility will ensure that while I willl primarily play this on my MacBook Pro, should my pals invite me to a game when I am out and about, I can join in on my iPhone, using the same characters. That's something only one previous iOS game (there are probably more, but only one I know of and enjoy) has offered me. That kind of flexibility is powerful stuff.
TRENDY PLZ DONT MAKE PAID CUSTOMIZATION!!! PLZ PLZ PLZ i would gladly pay for it but my dad even had enough trouble to cough up the 99c to let me buy this.... plz dont make us pay.... i would but my crappy 2g isnt compatible....
the NGP version is tempting, almost swinging me away from a tegra2 based tablet. quad core arm9 cortex and a multicore SGX 543. raaaaaaaaaape. at this point I just want to be able to use gamespy, and cloud syncing.
Very true. The tegra is a beast of a gaming device BUT so is the iPhone as of now. By next year the hardware and graphics of the iPhone will be even more improved. It won't be long,IMO, until we have a "tegra hardware iPhone".
Yeah, you guys have to keep in mind that altho Sony said that the NGP would be out by Holidays 2011, it seems that it will only be available in one territory (at least), so by 2012 (when it becomes widespread) we will have an iPhone 6 and iPad 3
lol by then iphones are going to be coming out every 3 months so we will have the iphone 9. they'll start making halfs to it too to make it sound cooler so maybe an iphone 9.5
Yeah by the time these other tablets are out the iPad and the iPhone will already make them obselete as a gaming system.
I'm the longest iOS user I know off, version 1.0 anyone? I'm genuinely bored of the lock down apple has, in my earlier days I do jailbreak now I just can't be bothered. My phone does nothing but IM, games i'm hooked on because of depth. I'm looking into a quick media consumption device that isn't iOS based, I have a small laptop but that's purely work since i'm currently majoring in games development.
trendy in the 4.0 update Please don't make us pay for customization... PLEASE. I play on my dad's ipad and he won't even give it a though about letting me buy it. it was hard enough to make him cough up the dollar for just letting me get it! so please let existing players not have to pay only make players after the 4.0! Seems fair... right?

By the time apple matches the tegra2 dual cores, the quad tegra will be nearing release for android tabs. I play DD on a viewsonic g tablet now and I have no desire to pick it up on the ipod anymore, to be honest. I have gotten android ports of the few apps and games I use, and now my ipod touch 3gs is just my portable media player and check ledger. I wont be upgrading at this time to any other apple product. I love the freedom and flexibility of this tablet and honeycomb isn't even out yet. This is just running 2.2 Froyo... Do not like having to wait for a patch because of apple. The android market isn't THAT bad. The way people talked and dissed, I expected much worse. And its only going to improve. Btw this tablet was under 400 bucks and is a beast! My first android device and I love it.
i have over $400 dollars in my wallet right now.... I'm just saying since its my DAD"S ipad with HIS account signed in he hardly lets me buy anything on it. And no I'm not buying a new ipod my 2nd gen is fine with me right now
Yeah no kidding... Devs don't care about your daddy issues. Go earn an allowance like my kid does and buy yourself an itunes card. Geez kids today think they are so over-entitled...whiners...my daughter is almost six and already understands how it works if she wants something. And if you have four hundred in your wallet then why can't you just have your dad order it for you, and just give him the money? How much do you expect from a three dollar game?!? Heck like I said if my daughter wants disney puzzle for android or whatever she gives me the money from her allowance and ill get it for her. Don't see what the problem is.
