iPad Dungeon Defenders: Second Wave - (by Trendy Ent) (v6.7)

I just bought this app for $4.99 (it's not on sale anymore, I don't think) and it keeps crashing on my iPhone 4 upon launch! It loads up a screen, then crashes to the homescreen. Any help guys? Thanks.

 

Log out of gamecenter, then cleare multitasking bar, then restart, then load app. While logged out of gamecenter

 

Ugh, was very excited for the update, but the solo experience has gone completely downhill... Ogres needed to be nerfed, but why is such garbage dropping on Insane Throne Room now? Oakvale is completely impossible solo, as is the MonsterFest challenge on Hard/Insane unless you happen to be a squire that already has a fairy...

Java/Masher, I realize the initial iOS version was a Monty Hall loot fest, but to not see *any* even legendary or epic drops ( never mind godly ) on Insane throne? Can you guys advise on where solo players should be playing in order to find reasonable equip for ~ level 65? Also, group is required for a familiar in this game?

 

Won't work on 4.1 btw...update.

u can get it to work on 4.1 as we figured out a few pages ago, works in 30 secs after ya do the fix.

 

I second this. Solo players should be rewarded with better rewards as it is much more challenging.

 

i meant straight out of the box. Also if your not jailbroken you cannot do it.

 

Osmiral mudkip? U guys up for some playing tonight!!!!???I can't wait man. My iPhone guy is lvl 14 now my iPad guy is 60 lol but its more fun on the iPhone IMO. So can we all beat the campaign first before we try the deadly last mission. I wanna be at least 25 before we play that mission tonight.

 

I beat the ogre on hard on foundries and forges. Very very easy. Although I'm only 14 on my iPhone, I've been playin for a while on my ipad so I know how to easily beat that map. If you want I'll PM you my secret strategy where you can easily get flawless victory on hard at a low level.

 

Ah well I like to solo because it is simply, a lot more fun than playing online. The online play was very poorly executed in my opinion, as the soloing the game is more strategic and you actually get to build towers (unlike playing online where you have to share the "Tower Cap" with 3 other people).

Imagine playing Starcraft where you have some idiots sharing your unit cap.

Trendy Entertainment, once the critical bugs have been resolved, perhaps it is finally time for an in-depth and thorough manual to be added. One that covers all aspect of the game. Dungeon Defenders IS a rather complex game, and while the tutorial is great, it doesn't cover even a small amount of the complexities and niceties of the game.

While it will only take a few hours of play fo figure it all out, this would lower the learning curve for new players considerably. Several reviews have mentioned the complexity of DD, and how it can be a bit overwhelming at first.
