TA's review, in my opinion was a major slip. This game is Epic and the controls are fine. This game is totally worth $2.99 and now it's on sale for $.99?? You have to get it. No matter what!

I'm not having a problem with the controlls (ok, the camera controlls could be a liiiitle better, but with the following camera it's just about ok.)

The Auto Targeting is one thing that annoys me, when I'm shooting at an enemy with my crossbow it shouldn't suddenly target another enemy behind a wall.

Exactly what I mean by controls. Moving around is fine, but the camera is just awful for me. And when it auto targets shit that I can't even damage, there's a problem. Not a big one, but a problem none-the-less. A simple swipe camera would be just fine and easy to maneuver. As for the auto targeting, I would get rid of it changing once one is locked on and have the ability to tap enemies that you want to select otherwise. This may be more difficult, but it would work better for me.

Still... this game f*cking pwns. And at .99 cents it's a steal.

They'll get godly gear eventually ;) Now I just need to beat the last campaign mission on easy, it's quite sad that my level 52 apprentice can't do it :(

Just tried the update very briefly, maximized the graphic resolution (it looks awesome, a lot more detailed it seems), but it's a bit laggy. Is it normal?

And this is on an iPhone 4, fully updated and reset before trying. Of all iOS devices, the iPhone 4 is the one with most memory and better processor, so it shouldn't be lagging?

And why is it that there were items on the ground in the Guild/Bar or whatever is it called? There were three, but nothing that my apprentice could use (the items were for the other classes).

From what I've been told, the closest analogy is Bug Heroes, but still far from similar.

Defender Chronicles is on the other end of the tower defense spectrum, since in Dungeon Defenders, you control one hero, level him or her up, find new loot, etc, in addition to tower defense mechanics.

I have excess godly gear (especially huntress), which I would gladly trade for a familiar if I could get in ANY gamespy games.

Dumb question that probably has been answered already...does his work on old touch 2g?

Well the iPhone 4 still isn't the most powerfull smartphone out there. It's high detail and some lag or lower detail and no lag. I'd suggest putting the bar at about 66%-75%, works great on my iPod Touch 4!

Yeah, but the point saying it is that the game was designed to run on iOS platform, in which the iPhone 4 is the most powerful of all, and even there the game lags (highest resolution). It's like having the most monstrous computer out there and a game you buy lags on it. Hence why I'm asking if this is normal or if it's some sort of bug?

    Code:
    iPhone 4
    CPU: Apple A4 (ARM Cortex-A8)
GPU: Apple A4 (PowerVR SGX 535)
    Memory 512 MB eDRAM

    iPod touch 4G
CPU ARM: Cortex-A8 Apple A41 GHz (underclocked to 800 MHz)
    Memory: 256 MB DRAM

    iPad
    CPU: 1 GHz Apple A4
Memory: 256 MB DRAM built into Apple A4 package

Something went funny with my update and I lost my damn 60 with all godly gear..... and my full bank. Luckily I saved the first version so just going to reinstall that and grind back up.

    Crashes

Anyone having this problem? Just bought it and was excited to play, but cannot open. Did everything and still nothing. What a waste, will delete and will be very hesitant with this developers future titles.

The iPhone and the iPod Touch 4 are the same hardware wise except for the ammount of RAM.
And I'm asuming that the game was designed to run on smartphones in general, not just iOS, because it's on Android too.

It's a bug, if you are jailbroaken you can fix it by editing a file that makes your system version number make apps and so on think you're on 4.0. Gamecenter multiplayer won't work, but the rest will then. for details, go about 10 pages back or so I think.

Doesn't seem like a great solution, seeing how that could break other stuff. I'd just wait for the fix.

Yeah, the current version keeps crashing after the title screen. The 1-star ratings on iTunes will continue to pile up until Trendy fixes this problem...

It won't work, I tried that before I updated. I also edited the Plist file. It will continue to crash.
