does this game lag even when not playing with others online or only when online? and is there any plans to fix the lag?

 

It has never lagged in single player . Can't tell for sure if lag is fixed in online multiplayer cause its not working to join games with gamespy atm for me .

 

Editing SystemVersion.plist makes your System/iPhone think it runs on a different iOS version.

But i'm not going to mess with my SystemVersion.plist just to make this work.

@TrendyEnt: please fix this asap, mildly disappointed myself... waiting three weeks for this patch, to get DD running on 4.1 and now it crashes on 4.1 (iphone 4) for most of the people, including me btw.

Initial crash on iPad (official 4.2, no JB) too, needed to reboot, seems to be working

 

can't wait to play the update once I reach home!

 

i made it running by putting in English version in ipod seetings

 

If you change the systemversion.plist and leave it set to 4.0, there's a good chance other apps may not work. Just something to keep in mind.

 

In the new update when your at the tavern as i did in single player i went to a valentines heart with gift boxes next to them and i got a few new items as a gift from trendy!

Hopefully the game devs will see this and be able to make a fix based on this info. The devs was unsure what was causing it... But now they know.
Just proves it's not the jailbreaks causing it not to work... It's the 4.1 even tho the patch was supposed to make it work on 4.1

It's easy to edit that file and easy to just change it back

Have u tried the game again after changing it back to 4.1?

So was item drop rate nerfed? I've been running Ogre Crush for about an hour now and I have yet to find an item.

 

Question: What is the benefit of storing mana in the defense bank thingy? And is there a way to sell items?

 

You use that banked mana to invest in items and upgrade their properties like weapon attack and hero stats etc .
Sell items by going to your defender's forge in your or other people's tavern and tap the item then click sell at the right .

 

Anyone else having troubles with Gamespy ?

thanks for the update trendy. but i have to say the video option should be in the middle range when starting the game for the first time (since update) cause text is barely readable.

Maybe issues aren't as bad as before.

I have done ogre crush once, and no items were dropped. Not even one.

 

gamespy managed to piss me off as much as gamecentre did and I was waiting for this patch forever.

 

I must say, the previous camera issues are now largely a thing of the past, and are markedly better! Framerate appears better too. Top job TE. 2.0 is faaaantastic in comparison to 1.0.

Can't wait for PvP by the way!

 

Yeah this patch made things better but the framerate is still a bit bumpy on my ipod touch 4g (around 20fps and sometimes it drops a lot lower than that) but on the plus side the game looks a lot better and we now have a slider to control the upscale!

 

Yay, it works on 4.1 that says it's 4.0!
