Thanks MrJo I guess its the fact that teh game looks so amazing that makes waiting worse Honestly I cant believe that I my iPhone can play games of such high quality, I never knew a year ago that these type of games(DD, IB, Eternal Legacy, Sad princess) would ever be possible
I always had a feeling the iPhone was destined for gaming greatness. Game loft won't be the source of that greatness but companies like these will. Independent companies using the UE and making great games.
I think Activision's CEO statements were rather depressing in this regard. I think DD can actually show the world it is a serious gaming device, by allowing people with PCs an iPhones to coop together - it single handedly will show they are equal competing devices. And with apps costing between [0-10] dollars and offering hours of gameplay, I personally cant think of a better device
I heard that DD will have save transfering from the iDevice to the PC versions. Does anyone know if this is possible with the ps3? I'm planning to get the ps3 and ios version and it would be nice to have the two accounts connected.
LOL no i think he was asking about whether the dev could update us on whats going on or just talk to us! But this is some great info! I did not know this
So the talk on the Dungeon Defenders forum seems to point to the game being released after IB because IB gets first release of the UE3. So hopefully this game will be out the same day or the next day after IB is released.
I could be mistaken but I swear i remember reading some where that this game was suppose to come out on December 3
Still perplexed as to why this forum isn't as active - are most toucharcade fans just not that into this type of game??? As soon as someone gets word of a release date, please share it here
Well yeah it should have more hype! Considering it's cheaper and has more content that infinity blade that's weird. But i know that once it's released it will sell well, i hope for Trendy anyway
There's no stream of info coming in from the developers via different sites as with other games. The devs pop out now and then and post a video, but no real hands on articles or interviews are done, so everything fizzles out. The only thing the game has going for it in talk circles is that it looks pretty, seems to be a full fledged game and runs on the Unreal Engine. Same thing with Cut The Rope - one of the biggest Appstore games ever yet has a proportionally small thread. cause there's not much to talk about.
When the game is released then I think the thread will be very busy. As stated before the developer hasn't released a lot of info, so there isn't a lot to talk about yet. I think that will all change once the game is out and everyone wants to play online or find specific items.
