Yeah, it will make your towers much more useful. It's a good idea because good towers and defenses are a must for this game.
Yeah I don't like when people ask for build tips. There is no right or wrong answer. Personally I see the squire as a brute force class so I upgraded damage. Then I found that I was a bit slow so I upgraded speed. And so on and so on.
Yeah. I read that Trendy is thinking about allowing respeccing, but until then, I didn't want to spend points in some useless stat (that can be seen in some games).
Thanks for the tips. I just got the game and Im trying trial by fire (its what I do mostly) and was wondering would anyone experienced(ish) like to play. my name is walsh060.
Are there any tips on getting better gear? I tried hard but still can't beat the whole level on hard. Do the chests drop any good loot? Most of the time I get useless stuff
Chests are nit good loot sources. I play a lot of levels on hard and currently have a sword with 150 damage a hit + 100 lightning damage.
I asked in the other thread, but how do you combat the Wyverns on the third level with a level 8 squire? They fly right over my defenses.
Placing a bouncing barricade next to the one they target was helpful for me, and I found I was still hitting them with my sword from the ground - just had to be right next to them.
The reason I was asking is because while I was away fighting creeps, the dragons just swooped in and destroyed the crystal. I played it again, staying closer to the base, but they still managed to get it down to red in the final wave. At least I beat it.
Did I make a big mistake investing in a sword with no melee damage and all poison damage? There are some enemies that are poison resistant. Should I just go back to my melee only sword?
It's good to have a weapon that does normal range or melee damage along with specializing in one special attribute like poison or fire damage.
