So this game is still full of game logic bugs? Is the math for certain abilities working correctly now? Haven't returned much since the last update.
Well great, what a bummer. Finally made it through the first boss dungeon (30 levels) in the third attempt and the game crashes to the homescreen after showing my earnings. Unlike someone else here mentioned cloud saving did bubkiss for me though. After restarting and re-entering the dungeon I was thrown back at its beginning, all loot (coins, gems) gone too of course. Perfect waste of a Sunday morning. Loved the game so far - Hope this was an isolated incident (no yen for trying again now anyway). At least don't crash at the worst timing possible. And for what exactly do I have cloud saving for the game activated if I get thrown back at the beginning of the dungeon anyway?
Loving this game so much! I've finished all 3 acts with my paladin and just started messing around with all the other characters. My only concern right now is that act 1 is at 75% completion and the other acts are both at 86%. What does it take to get 100%? If this has been discussed, my apologies but I couldn't find anything on it. Thanks you!!
So I just cleared the final dungeon and beat the pharaoh boss. However, I didn't get his head as a trophy reward in the mansion. Another bug mayhaps ?
I liked the pre-patch balance, but I agree with that. I didn't think the game needed to be made easier, but I find the other changes fun. (Esp. the spells.) The Enchanted Bombs, though, now strike me as either too strong, or too easy to get. Or both.
I've experienced this. I believe the answer to this is contained in your description of the problem... Hopefully Pixeye return here soon and can confirm my theory. I discovered an exploit that makes the game easier. I didn't publish it here but I've told a few people who've asked me via PM. The fact that you have 10 stones early on leads me to believe you found the exploit too. You would know what I'm talking about if you have, am I right? If so, then I think Pixeye has found this out also and is 'punishing' those who use it by decreasing attack. Kind of unfair for those who do it unknowingly. This is just a theory/guess. Edit: Either way, equipping a 'Blood Stone' artefact seems to stop the issue. Edit 2: Actually, no, it doesn't.
Pity I'm already through with Crashlands. Despite all the updates ... Until most of those issues have been solved, Dungelot's just a halfway decent experience of a potentially amazing game. Suppose we can only cross fingers for the next version number.
Hi there. I'm stuck at Act 1. I finished it with the paladin, then with the vampire, but act 2 is still locked. I even made it to the 100th floor of infinite dungeon with both of them... I don't know what to do to unlock that damn act 2!!! Please help.
You should have a blue coloured archway appear after beating Act I, if you do, go through that and it should take you to Act II. If not - if I were you I'd start again, you seem pretty good at the game and it shouldn't take you long at all to recomplete Act I if you can make it that far in endless dungeon.
There is a blue arch, indeed, but i can't go through, when i touch it, it does nothing. I guess i have to start all over again then. TY for your help anyway.
Lol oh man this game. Bought the power up for +2 damage for bombs before. Of course the bomb damage is exactly the same as before. Crashes, false calculations, guy above me can't enter act 2 ... So many different bugs - and that after two updates - is rather rare for an iOS game in my experience. Too few beta test(er)s? Anyhow, does anybody know if one can win the minigame with the three chests without a lantern? Never have had one yet when the guy appeared and lost every time. Furthermore, his evil laugh when I lose makes me a bit suspicious And just unlocked the Vampire. Is it just me or is this guy really weak? Despite a little higher crit chance and durabilty I see nothing going for him compared to the paladin - Lower HP, armor and attack (or another bug? Maybe the game not showing me the universal upgrades I've made for the Paladin?) and his starting gear/skills aren't that great either (besides that he's just getting the same arsenal as the Paladin anyway). The guy strikes me as surprisingly weak - Am I missing something here?
Ive won the minigame many times. I think vampire is easier than paladin, just needs different playstyle. Games freezing a lot for me lately when that mansion thingy grabs one of the enemies away -.- Also I think bards skill which should give you power wont work. Actually Ive seen it taken away my power
I've picked the right chest a few times without the lantern. I thought the vampire was weak at first too, but once I got used to it I didn't really think so. I played all the way through Act 1 again with the vampire and overall didn't find it any harder than with the Paladin. I did notice though that at least in Act 1, it's a lot more common for enemies to be weak to fire than to poison. Since the vampire's spell attack is poison-based whereas the Paladin's is fire, this is one way the Paladin seemed a little more suitable for Act 1. On the other hand the vampire's teleport spell (don't remember what it's actually called) is very useful.
The minigame can be won without the latern. It's just more difficult without. I agree with you that the vampire is only okay compared to the Paladin (who I think is overall extremely solid compared the every other class). However the vampire's skills are generally what I find to be the best. The 3 damage fireball is great for early stage Act 1 enemies with lower health (may be way less useful for later acts) and then teleport is an instakill if you can find a stage with a hole in it. So these are powerful spells but they need good conditions to be most effective. The first ability is mainly for weak enemies or those you want to finish off without being touched.
Ok guys, thanks for your replies. Guess just haven't been lucky yet - Had the 3 chest game at least 15 - 20 times now (only act 2 but started a few new saves) BUT I haven't won a single time yet. Some game tip says to use lantern and the guy always was like MWAHAHAHA when I lost, seemed suspiciously evil Started to think winning wouldn't be possible w/o lantern (bought lanterns every time when they were available lately, of course he doesn't show his face then )
