Okay, another dumb question. What the heck are you supposed to be found in the armory after the 3-2-1 bit? The instructions were all kinds of vague and only given the first time.
The game crashes when the character is dying of starvation in act 1 (and has to get the quest for that). Also crashes when I click on my character in act 2.....
Are you talking about the blacksmith with the count down? I actually don't know how to do that either. I saw the countdown then tapped, and it just exited me out of the minigame and took whatever it cost me to play (I've only seen him once which was 4-5 days ago so I don't remember). I don't like how it didn't tell me what to do and charged me for it. I feel like shields and items that can be used/equipped that are on the "inventory full tab" (the extra tab you get when a reward received won't go in your inventory) should be usable if they can be usable. For instance I can't fit the shield in my inventory but I have no shield in my shield slot. I should be able to equip it without having to dispose something in my inventory just to equip it.
The Blacksmith is a small mini game. After the countdown you're meant to tap when the arrow lines up with the small green bar. After you do it ten times in a row you 'level up'. Next is fifty times in a row. You also get coins for every strike/tap. Edit: forgot to mention it costs one food per attempt.
I sorta did... "Hit something with something " and then you see the arrow start to move. I immediately mucked it up but it's the same concept as "Combo Kings" (if that's the title) and a dozen other ios reaction games. I don't think I'll progress past lvl one though... Ten times is quite doable but FIFTY times! ???? Aye Caramba Pixeye!
Sorta/kinda... I did what you did first time round. Next time I saw the Blacksmith I tapped him first which displays the info again. The anvil starts the game. Also I agree with MasonHurst, ten times is doable but not fifty or more.
Updated Now I can use witch but why this easy? I beat the gob king with crafted fire bombs only. Hmmmm, this could be a turn to wait another update.
The only balancing issue that I see is the fire bombs costing only 1 resin, but doing 5 damage and getting two bombs. Now of course this assumes the mansion upgrades, but the way it was done before wasn't balanced. Two inventory slots (in act I before the item capacity upgrade) would be needed, and THREE reagents, all of which had low spawn rates. As a very seasoned and experienced 4x, RTS, etc player, I personally, as in my opinion, think the balance is fine now. The issue is either make the bombs cost 2 resins, or lower the resin drop rate by a number of percent points. I END most dungeon runs with 8+ enchanted firebombs. Otherwise, the game was a nightmare before, way too hard considering the low frequency of tradition stat progression. I was stuck grinding gold for a bit in act I before, and I now I'm flying through the dungeons because of the bombs being so cheap to make. They're not overpowered, just too plentiful. The game feels less random and luck based now, but I agree the bomb issue makes it easy.
I like the new balance. I personally am having a lot more fun and crafting items a lot more. Crafting becomes a big tool for winning. One request I'd love is to have a top floor reached in each survival endless mode instead of just your last run. It'd be nice to see what my goal is to beat instead of just seeing where I went previously.
After the update I realized I REALLY love this game. Now I would say that the crafting is actually useable now, and I craft all the time but rarely did before. So much fun. I love how each dungeon you get a reward (weapon, recipe, gold, etc) that makes me want to keep playing and playing. Great job pixeye! Just promise me that one day there will be dungelot 4 lol. I have all 3 on my iPhone 6plus lol Tony
Opening the witch? Went through all of Act 2 with vampire sans the deadly dungeon and boss dungeon wont open. So, have now gone through several dungeons with the paladin, and still no access to the boss dungeon, and the witch is still locked up? How to access the witch and open the boss dungeon?
I think you have to use paladin to unlock the witch maybe? And it's not the boss you have to beat, it's the dungeon closest to the witch I think. Tony
Vampire damage drops to 0 Think I found an odd, persistent bug. Not sure if this is related to it, but I managed to collect and use about 10 sharp stones, and after casting a few spells with the buff I noticed my attack damage dropped to 5, then to 0. Now anytime I play my vampire, his attack starts at 5 and drops to 0 permanently after a few hits. Stones can increase the damage temporarily. Save/quit & entering the dungeon again resets damage back to 5, then the cycle repeats. Anyone else experiencing this?
I actually had to clear all the dungeons, including the deadly one, before the witch opened up for me.
