Hmm I'll have to try this out on my next run. I actually never use holy light except for healing. Health is too precious and acts as emergency healing so I use other items for attacking. Btw the "favorite hero" bug still persists. I just beat Act 1 with the Paladin (thanks to all the awesome buffs and getting lucky with the potion shop giving me x2 +20 health potions) now it says that my favorite hero is the Bard. And I definitely have not beat Act 3..
The update is making progression much easier, at least for me. Finally beat the goblin king. Now, on to the next dungeon! Such a great game!!
@Pixeye: can you explain about the last skill of Vampire (Blood Magic). I used it and had no effect but damage to my character. And new bug report: Chomper effect conflict with Hell's Bite passive of Vampire when happened at the same time, cause crash. I know it's rarely
When viewing the pre-level room with the cow on Act I, the gold counter along with the speech bubble is cut off. iPhone 6S+ iOS 9.2.1.
The starvation achievement still crashes the game, but now when I go back to the dungeon after crashing my character is alive with 0 health.... :/
Good to see my suggestion taken up with the screenshots. It looks much better now, both by showing its able to run in portrait mode and displaying the exceptional art work. If I was still a prospective buyer I'd be much more inclined to grab it now if I had never heard of it.
One more thing before I jump in, can someone tell me how is the strategy compared to runestone keeper ? Because in that game I feel like I'm really just clicking on bad guys mindlessly and not really feeling strategic at all like I would be in other rogue likes so I didn't get much playtime out of it. How does this game compare ?
Is it a bug that when I use a piece of equipment, whatever it replaces simply disappears instead of going back into my bag? Kind of annoying since I could otherwise sell, salvage, or use it again later.
I'm trying to think of anything you'd use from the bag that wasn't consumable. Weapons, health,etc...and the "big" items can be swapped in and out so I guess I'm being dense...?
I note the same thing, from the beginning. The items in the hand area can be freely swapped, but the artifacts disappear. yeah, might be a bug.
I thought the difficulty was just about perfect, not sure why dev felt the need to give us the kid glove treatment. Luckily I already have it installed and and don't have to do the update, but I feel sorry for people who like a challenge that don't already have it installed.
Yeah, I think it's too easy now in Act I at least, and I'm not any kind of strategy game expert. Thought it was perfect before. I haven't tried Act II or III so maybe the new version is better there. Or maybe this is just a case of "you can't please everyone".
I am actually in ACT 2 and just ran through the 35 level "deadly" dungeon on my second try using the pre-update version. I still had 15 HP, a few spells, and few useful items at the end so I didn't just barely squeak through....
All artefacts are symbiotic - they become 'one' with your body and disappear if you change them. So you have to think carefully about what to have there & for how long. There is a pop up saying this when you first equip an artefact.
The skill / spell damage math is not working properly. It seems like it follows this chain of events after choosing a target for a spell: 1) cast a spell animation 2) reduce charge 3) calculate damage based on remaining charge count 4) deal damage Which is of course totally wrong and I got killed 2 times because the tooltip said I will do 6 damage and I only did 5 (vampire world problems) Damage has to be calculated from the current charge level, not from the one that is left after you cast the spell.
