I finally beat the Pharoah in Act III with the Witch and saw the ending. Being honest, I must add that I discovered something that allowed me to get through any dungeon easily. I won't publish it here because I don't want to possibly ruin the game for others.
The only way I can get this to work is to delete my save slot and then re-download the save, basically forcing it to download. Otherwise it doesn't seem to auto-sync save games for me.
When you boost armor or health, how much do you get? If its 10 or 20, then probably worth it during Act 2, but if its only 1 increase like it is for attack, going from 49 to 50 health is not the same as going from 5 attack to 6 attack.
One nice thing is it lets you test it and undo it before making a final decision ...it seems to add 15 to 20 life and maybe 12 to 15 armor. I agree nobody would bother with anything but attack if they all only went up one increment. So did you finish the game without ever trying the other stat boosts? That's interesting.
Thanks for the info. I am only on Act 2. Still have several dungeons in Act 2. I have not yet freed the witch. Probabl the next tome I get I will upgrade armor. Health jewels seem to be easier to find.
Has anyone who has bought the clock in the mansion actually had it work yet? I saved up for it fairly early in the game and I reckon out of maybe 30 runs I haven't had a single revive.
As bard when I kill the boss on level where I should get bards axe game crashes every time I click the chest -.-
I don't seem to have the witch glitch or whatever it is. She is probably my most played person by far. I have a (possible) theory for some of the crashes/bugs people are having. In my experience, new updates and old game-saves don't mix. If you don't do a fresh install each update, you should at least start a new save. I think I've restarted D3 about 20 times now trying out different builds so it's not really a big deal. And now I think about it, I bought the clock early and never once been revived.
I just checked and can't see anything to do with iCloud anywhere either. I vaguely remember cloud saves being there at launch? Not sure though. Hopefully Pixeye can answer your question soon. Edit : @stbassy (below) - yes there is a known crash bug when dying from starvation, fix is on its way.
Yeah come to think of it you can add me to the list...I've never had a reincarnation after death either. Of course it doesn't state the percentage of the effect. Maybe you have a generous one percent chance #
crash bug on starvation? can someone tell me if there is a crash bug whenever one starves to death? been trying to get one of the quest rewards (red crystal if I starve to death), but the game consistent crashes. not sure if there's a workaround, or I need to reinstall ... playing on: latest iOS, and iPhone 6.
I was hoping he could help as there certainly was a download and upload button for saves before the most recent update. Now there just seems to be an upload button but it doesn't automatically push saves to other devices so without a download save it's useless.
I was thinking... What clock are these guys taking about in the mansion..?? That was the first and only clue I've seen that you can swipe right on the page! Grrrr.... There really should be an arrow or something. I assume it expands with each new hero. I was wondering why only the Paladin was in there.
It's pretty dark in there. You have to tap away to explore...don't miss the small horseshoe on the wall, etc The new chars do appear in there but I don't think the room expands ( unless it happens after the witch).
You must be playing in landscape. You don't see the whole room in portrait. But yes, you're probably right then. I just didn't think to swipe over until I had the vampire, who is in that half. Bad assumption on my part that the area came with him.
This is a really long thread so I'm not sure if this has been reported yet, but I just encountered my first bug with the game. I made it to Act III with the Paladin with no issues, Act II with the Vampire with no issues. I unlocked the Witch and in the first dungeon in Act I, on the final boss, I go to hit him 1 more time to kill him and the game crashed. It wiped out all the progress I made with the Witch in the first Act I dungeon. I was so excited to finally unlock the Witch and now I can't even play her. Is there a bug fix update coming soon? Also, does anyone have any tips for beating the "Deadly" difficulty dungeon with the Vampire in Act II?
