I beta tested and when it was over I got the impression they were fixing the list of stuff i gave feedback on before launch. When my beta expired , I was told it will be back at end of month. It was back alright. But in the App Store as a launch with many things still unresolved. That's ok though. I love this game and they will keep working till it's the way it's supposed to be. Not a problem in my eyes. I still play, and when update comes, great! Tony
Yeah the vampire makes short work of those guys if they are far away and you have his first spell and a charge. Usually a five point hit gets rid of them clear across the screen. I'm not fond of the choppers either but I guess that's the point...especially the way they don't count down when you are fighting another enemy. Brings back memories of super Mario 64 though... Hope the big N doesn't send in the lawyers #
Agreed. I think the vampire's best skill is using the blast attack to insta-kill them. Otherwise my appreciation of the vampire is so-so minus his teleport insta-kill that only works when there's a pit tile. I actually think the chain chomps are supposed to punish people that tap too fast (looks at myself).
Aside from the first major bug (game crashes when i select witch, pls fix!!), another bug really annoyed me was at act 2, the map with 35 lvls(deadly). When i get to boss fight with bard on this map, after i kill boss and collect loot, the game crashes. So im never able to finish this dungeon on my bard and collect the reward (bard's axe). I really want this axe pls fix. Aside from these im a huge fan of the game since old dungelot days. thanks for bringing such a wonderful game!!
Need some advice. I'm about to get to the cow in act one with the vampire and will have another chance to upgrade him. Right now he has 53 life, 3 attack and only 14 armor. I'm using the leather armor and pick axe though I can swap out the axe as I have the mansion pretty much finished. Should I up the armor and try to hang on to it as long as possible in the run or should I go for more life as the armor won't last forever? I faced the boss in the 25 lvl dungeon with 40 hp to start but I suspect the cow will be more of a challenge...
my suggest is My suggest is to equip a crossbow. This weapon is far stronger than it looks. Archer monsters are unavoidable, so I think crossbow could be the best weapon when you are in the dungeons they appear.
There's was a similar convo on steam about the same thing, but I didn't check the date. Not sure it's a bug, based on what I read, but I didn't check the date. Looks like more of a design choice... Thanks for following up on that though. Dude's got a lot on his plate right now, lotta game breaking bugs, but yea, good to bring up stuff like this. --------- BUG Confirmation : act 1, dungeon underneath the bless statute, vampire, floor 3, the shift spell does not damage kobolds, at least who have gained a bonus from tiles. NEW BUG: same facts as above, my character stayed blighted for 4 turns, then I quit out of frustration. Apparently save and quit fixed it.....
After the crossbow you can find the bow. The bow is stronger. Two handed but I can still use a shield lol. Sweet! It's the wooden one maybe it straps to your arm that's why lol Tony
You basically just farm by trying to beat the harder dungeon. You'll keep the gold you earn. Just watch out for the starvation bug.
The update went for review. It will fix the witch crash bug, the bug with starvation bug and bug with not shown blocks in the II act. The whole changing stuff : Balance changes: Throwing knife deals 1-2 dmg instead of 1 Throwing axes deals 1-3 dmg instead of 2 + double damage if target is wounded Pistol deals 2-6 dmg Mansion oil gives +2 to bombs Craft recipes require only 1 reagent ( sulfur for bombs and flower for potions ) Sharpen stones give 1-2 dmg to the next attack. It seems useless BUT many of your spells are power based ( % bonus of your total damage ) - so you can buff several times with that stones and then make nice damage with your spells ( and you won't lose your attack buff ) Flower gives 1-3 hp Iron gives 1-3 armor points Better coin rate for harder dungeons Fish give +3 to hero charge instead +1 Salvaging artifacts gives +5 to hero charge instead +1 Salvaging big items gives +3 to hero charge instead +1 Berserk potions give +4 dmg instead of +2 dmg Bug with starvation fixed Bug with inactive blocks on the map fixed ( rare bug ) Bug with witch crash fixed Gamecenter bug fixed
What about morale? The upgrade to increase morale by one seems kinda pointless since its just +1 for the first floor, then goes to normal.
As far as I remember the only thing I've changed with morale that it doesn't drop when you leave the hideout. We will think about morale in the next update though. Cheers.
I guess it doesnt make a lot of sense to pay $600 gold ( in the mansion) to have morale be bosted automatically for only the first level of a dungeon??? I can understand if its boosted permanently and things can make it go ip or down, but just to have a boost for only the first dungeon floor makes no sense.
