I wonder if you could explain why the free version of the original Dungelot (only two classes, full of ads) is being sold for a buck on the android store (Kindle store actually). My kid has a Kindle, saw me playing the original Dungelot on my iPad and wanted to have it and ended up paying for an ad-filled free version. It's the only version available also.
so after playing this game i perfer the old version, this is still good just not as good here is some reasons 1. Lvling seems weird the only stat that seems worth it is Health 2. I miss the crafting feature. 3. Don't like how skills work at all... Im still enjoying and I love it's more stable, the first version had so many bugs it become unenjoyable for me.
Thé game is awesome. Really awesome. I've got a small detail that would have made my last run more fun : mosquitoes with their 10% HP drain are ridicously strong when you have 150hp+ maybe a cap. I've encountered like 3 and I'm down to 80 hp. Love you
Pixeye: I dig the new version, and your games will always be one of my all time favorites just to say that first. I've been playing a ton of runs to get a solid idea of the randomness....I can't help but notice that there are always a ton of health assists in the first few dungeons when I don't really need them, and right around dungeon 10-15 there is almost always nothing if not maybe one heart or so. I guess once all of my characters are leveled up I can spend all my gold in the taverns, but for quite awhile you don't want to do that if you're saving gold to level up. Also, could you make the mana bottles ramp up to more than one point later on? There are so many totems and things to deal with that there is a point where no matter how careful you are you're just screwed. Otherwise, I do love the active and passive bonus features so if you want to get rid of something or exchange it or need something in a pinch you get a bang for your trade....
Hello! Tnx for your feedback, right now I'm improving balance making it more soft at beginning. In the next update coins value and reward for clearing level will increase in dungeons.
I just finished the 4th dungeon. I really like the Mage skills, as it makes for a very fun time. However, I think the monsters he faces are bugged to be weaker. At the end of 4th dungeon I got a master key. Is there a plan for it to unlock anything? Finally, I've leveled all 3 to lv 6. Is there plans for something more to spend gold on? Maybe more levels, classes, or dragon stuff? Gold is also helpful for runs, so it's okay as is, but I'd love more content.
I am beginning to agree with you on that. What is a game changer is which of those 3 stats is easier to refill? The answer is health. You have hearts, health fountains (or whatever they are), you have the healing scrolls. You even have abilities and talents to boost how much health you get. For armor and mana it's much more difficult to build it back up. Especially armor. Build up your health max and your survival rate is much easier so really as you play you have no real choice. You pick health. I am enjoying the game though and I am very glad that a game I enjoy is still going to get more improved as we go and that the guy working on it is constantly active on forums and both the players and him are giving feedback. Looking forward for more new developments in this game!
Pixeye, I've found a pretty significant bug at least on my iPhone 5 running the latest version of iOS. This is potentially an exploit, so spoiler tags in case people don't want to read it: Spoiler There's lag between inputting taps and the game/screen updating. This is most noticeable when going down stairs - if I furiously tap on the exit I've been able to completely skip up to 6 levels at a time. This may not be something easy to fix, but I wanted to bring it to your attention.
BUG + question ok found 1 bug I think... 1st dungeon on level 25 I got killed during the boss fight and I revived myself with a stone... and it INSTANTLY killed the Boss.. Yay.... easy way to get the key LMAO.... anyways... 2nd dungeon... Why can't I upgrade my warrior anymore HIGHER than level 6 ? it tells me that I need to improve my stats.... but WHAT stats for the warrior ??
Don't know if this has been discussed yet, but why can't I save and resume progress? If I have to quit on, say, Dungeon 18 and come back with the game long since bounced out of memory it pitches me back to dungeon 1. Not fair. Generally really enjoying this version though. Not sure how much replay value it has, but we shall see.
The max level cap of hero will be increased, new dungeons will be added but in summer, there is a lot of use leveling up armor, as it works with durability, the higher durability you have the lower points of armor you lose in battle
Beh.. Old one was simple and clear. This is confusing, and far from being simple (and it reaches the edge of non-understable gameplay) So we can see that, hiring an talented illustator is not enough to make a sequel (duh)
There was a pretty detailed tutorial and there is a help page as well. In fact the new version is simpler and more accessible. I don't see this "reaching the edge of non-understable gameplay" in any way.
Found a bug. After Skip floor bug happen Second tile from the bottom right can't open.need to reset the game to fix it. Also when only when I using Mage the skip floors bug happen.
The game has some shortcomings but it's not a one out of five in my view. I think there was some confusing aspects of the game but the tutorial helps out. The game does demand patience but it gets easier as you go. It is one of those games that you are always learning something everytime you play. If you don't have much patience chances are you will move on. I like the challenge and made huge strides in the game last night. More stuff on the way along with the normal bug squashing and improvements and I am quite happy. Hitting those squares is strangely addictive for me. =]
